You would think the #1 paid running back would have more yards on the year than a quarterback... just saying

Still a Zeke fan.....its the system

Also-high paid RB Todd Gurley is nearly 400 yards behind Jackson. High paid RB Le'Veon Bell is more than 400 yards behind him.

Here are the five highest-paid RBs and their numbers:

Ezekiel Elliott 246 rushes for 1,071 yards (4.4 YPC) and 9 TDs in 13 games. Contract averages $15 million per year.

Todd Gurley 177 for 721 (4.1) and 9 TDs in 12 games. $14,375,000 per year.

Le'Veon Bell 204 for 676 (3.3) and 3 TDs in 13 games. $13.125,000 per year.

David Johnson 89 for 336 (3.8) and 2 TDs in 11 games (8 starts). $13 million per year.

Devonta Freeman 141 for 506 (3.6) and 1 TD in 11 games. $8.25 million per year.

There is one coach over there in the AFC who could scheme a plan together to stop Jackson come playoff time. I wouldn't bet against it either.

The Pats look terrible, they have the same record as us over the past 5 weeks. They are not on the Ravens level.

they dont get it, they are poop stirrers.. Zeke demise is very overblown.. Hes looking down on a lot of great backs for sure..

the only thing that matters is Zeke hasn't played game 14 yet and Lamar has, Zeke will be ahead after this week barring injury..

Teams will never adjust to Jackson because one spy is not enough. And he will last the test of time because he's so elusive that he doesn't take any big hits.

Harbaugh will be the first coach to win a Superbowl with two different QB's. (IIRC) At least the Patriots reign is over, I think.

Lamar Jackson has more yards rushing at quarterback than Zeke does.

Kinda messed up when you think about it....
He has more rushing yards than all but 4 NFL RB's, and he's only 5 yards behind the #3 guy. That's just the nature of Jackson's talent and how the Ravens are using him.

Parcells won a Super Bowl with 2 different QBs (Simms & Hostetler). Joe Gibbs won SBs with 3 different QBs (Theismann, Williams and Rypien).

They’re going to run that 6’3” 210lbs QB off a cliff with this usage. There won’t be any tread left on his tires by the time his rookie contract is up...probably sooner

Lamar is 5th in the NFL and so has more rushing yards than most RB's. Not all that amazing!!!!

He's having a MVP season.

this even undersells it. he's having a historic season. He just set the record for most rushing yards by a qb EVER, and has more rushing yards than all but 4 running backs, and is only 5 yards behind one of them. lol

Thanks for the info. I forgot about Parcells and never new Gibbs was that good.

Phil Simms.
Jeff Hostetler.

Joe Thiesman.
Doug Williams.
Mark Rypien.

If I were the Ravens, I'd be a little concerned

it's worked out so far for them, but historically running QBs don't hold up long
Because there's been so many of them.

Not saying that's wrong, but Vick did have a long career and had his best year in Philly in 2010. But that doesn't fit the narrative, I guess.

69yards passing late in the 3rd QTR..by normal NFL standards that horrible for a starting QB..

Hes not normal nor the standard..

So what you're saying is whether it's a designed run or a successful read option the QB is taking advantage of what the defense is doing? If only our MVP all-pro future HoF QB could pull off a successful read option instead of letting Zeke get hit at the line by 2+ defenders when they're obviously paying no attention to Dak on those plays.
not what i said at all but hey - have fun.

League MVP and likely SB appearance, at least. Only potential pitfall is Bellicheck pulling a rabbit out of his hat when they matchup in playoffs.

am i missing something? i never called him normal or the standard. it's crazy to me how many td's he's thrown for on such comparatively little yardage.

Can’t look at stats in a vacuum. 1st off Jackson is the 5th leading rusher in the league as a QB. That’s unheard of.

2nd Elliott is 6th which by itself is completely acceptable, but far more understandable when one notices that Dak is the leading passer in the league by yards. So when Zeke was 1st I don’t think Dak was in the top 10 in passing by yards.

Our weakness as an offense was lack of explosiveness. That’s solved and if that means Zeke is 6-10 instead of 1-5 I’ll take that trade off.
