He's played one more game and leads Zeke by 32 yards, but since he played on Thursday you get to pretend it's a big deal for a couple of days.

He also leads the NFL in TD passes (and did before Thursday night). The wonders of playing in a creative offense, built around the strengths of your QB.

He's KILLING Zeke in that stat, LOL!!!

I mean, Jackson has surpassed a lot of RB’s this season. He’s been a freak of nature this season. Jackson is an anomaly so far this season. It means nothing.

Lamar Jackson is the best player in the entire league, MVP for sure,, why are we even comparing Lamar to any player on this team, this league?
I hope the guy can sustain, and Im glad he isn't in the NFC.
Anyone here want a make a stack of cash,, put all your available cash on the Ravens when they play the Patriots in the AFC championship game, despite the points.

So ITT we learn that the OP doesn't know the difference between a scrambling QB and a running back

The Pats look terrible, they have the same record as us over the past 5 weeks. They are not on the Ravens level.
They're worse than terrible. They're 0-3 vs good teams. What's that tell you?! Good thing they play the Jets & Miami twice, that gave them 4 wins from the get go. :lmao:

Teams will never adjust to Jackson because one spy is not enough. And he will last the test of time because he's so elusive that he doesn't take any big hits.

Harbaugh will be the first coach to win a Superbowl with two different QB's. (IIRC) At least the Patriots reign is over, I think.
I haven't watched much of the ravens, but it seems like he's taking some good hits on several runs a game whenever they show his highlights. Nothing bone crunching yet but it looks like it could add up one of these seasons

Mahomes had 50 td passes last year and lots of people ragged out Dak because he only had 22. Well this year Mahomes is on pace for about 26, Dak is on pace for about 30.

Teams and defenses adjust, one year stats mean little...
Mahomes missed several games with a dislocated knee cap so not sure that's a good comparison.

If I'm a coach playing against Jackson, I just tell my guys to hit him and hit him hard. Take the penalty yardage. Hit him enough and he'll get hurt, that's just what happens. He already had a banged up thigh, go ahead and target that.

These Ravens are starting to remind me of the Panthers SB team. Very cocky. If Harbaugh was smart, he'd start reeling them in a bit...

Best player out of the 2016 draft? Not Elliott, not the two QBs, not Ramsey.

It might be Ronnie Stanley, Baltimore's LT. I recall in the lead up to the draft, we had some on the draft board suggest we should take Stanley if we couldn't trade the pick.

Well, Bosa was in that draft and he's a mauler.

That test of time is tough. Just running the ball, without taking big hits, takes a toll on the body. Then, it only takes on hit to ruin a running quarterback. However, the goal is to win Super Bowls, so I'm all for using every aspect of a player's ability and let whatever happens happens.

Dallas is trash, we know, no one is disputing that. The Ravens took Lamar Jackson and ran with it. Cant help but admire what some teams will do with a player vs a team that looks at its players and say "meh, we dont need to do for them"

Agreed and also would add

Last year Mahomes was 50 td 12 int. This year (so far) 21 TD and 3 int

That's respectively a 4:1 and 7:1 TD to int ratio

That is insane.

So far this year Dak is 24 and 11. Roughly 2:1

Mahomes propensity for positive plays vs negative plays is not only significantly better than Dak's bit also better than just about any QB in the league the last couple of years. Not bashing Dak just being honest about how good Mahomes has been

Frankly I don't think most QBs in the league compare favorably to Mahomes since 2018. He's playing at a ridiculously high level week in and week out

You would think the #1 paid running back would have more yards on the year than a quarterback... just saying

Still a Zeke fan.....its the system
elliot should have 1300 yds or more, if he is the best, he should be able to avg100 per game.
And having a great year would be having about 1600 right now.

But cant compare him or any RB to lamar, when lamar takes off from pocket he usually has no one in front of him, that makes it easy to rack up
a lot of yds. Thing is he does it a lot, and this is what I wanted dak to do more of, is drop back and if a lane opens up take it and run.
It frustrates a defense and gets a lot of easy 1st downs.

Or it could mean we have figured out how we can use our players to the best of their advantage.

Im down on Zeke, but it’s apples to oranges comparing rushing yards between a QB and RB.

Lamar Jackson is a quarterback that has the ball in his hand every offensive snap for the Ravens which in hindsight can either run or throw the ball at his discretion.

Zeke doesn't have that option at the running back position.
