I respect Jaylon Smith for being savvy enough to swindle Jerry Jones out of $50Mil knowing in advance he was on borrowed time in the NFL.

Funny how he was a budding star and everyone loved him last year.
Now, our team is collectively sucking, and he's under-performing like everyone else, but now everyone thinks he sucks and wants him gone.
It's something else, guys....players don't just go from good to stinking in one year. He'll be back....stick with him.

This is the part that is getting lost. The celebration...his attire...lobbying for pro bowl votes....who cares. This guy has no business being on a NFL field. I can tell a lot of people don't watch tape...if they did...you would realize this is a Barnum and Bailey outfit. The person or people who deemed him worthy of an extension should be banned from football!

I think he has done a tremendous job getting thru the rehab and now PLAYING.

Now he is not the same guy from ND pre-injury. He is a different player.

Yes..he is better in one direction than another and better coming downhill to pursue than chasing from behind due to his injuries.

But that is normal with his injury history.

But so what?

Still good enough to get a handsome extension.

The team does not do that if they thought he was not good.

No, it's not that. Tank Lawrence has had a down year. Zach Martin has had a down year. But injuries have had a role to play in their issues, and we're not worried about them being possibly never being able to recover.

With Jaylon he's running and 'cutting' like 2017 Jaylon. So he's regressed for some weird reason from his drop foot issue. But he's acting like he's still 2018 Jaylon when it's plain to see he's not. He's being allowed to play as much as he is because he's a nice guy and a 2nd round pick. That's all
