Maybe if Zeke didn't need to take a breather every other play we could be more ground focused and he wouldn't be getting beat by a QB for rushing yards.

Lamar Jackson has more yards rushing at quarterback than Zeke does.

Kinda messed up when you think about it....
Zeke could have easily ran for 120 plus in each of the last 3 games if he would've kept getting the ball and the defense hadn't given up too many points and yards. He ran great the last few weeks.

It's easy to pick up yards if you are a really athletic quarterback because the defenders are mostly defending the skill position players. This is something that won't last though, because quarterbacks are fragile, and eventually this young man in Baltimore is going to get hurt seriously and he won't be able to run anymore.

That will change the complexity of the entire Baltimore team, and it's just a matter of when.

hes their entire team. I’m pretty critical of Elliot but you have to realize we have a few decent players.

it's worked out so far for them, but historically running QBs don't hold up long

Running backs don't hold up long either, but that doesn't stop us from giving them the ball.

A running QB is a massive advantage if you make use of his running. I wanted us to keep drafting them and churn them until we got one who could also be a great pocket passer, and I think Dak passes that threshold, but it's a pretty close call whether to churn running QBs or go with a great pocket passer.

I think it may appear pathetic, but I for one don't want my franchise QB running like he does. It's a numbers game. It's only a matter of time before the novelty wears off and he gets injured. We've seen this in the past. Once the legs are gone you can't simply turn the guy into a pocket passer. He's an elite talent, just not one I'd invest in long term.

The playoffs started my guy?

"come playoff time"

Has everybody here been living under a rock the last 20 years?
Nope. I believe that Jackson is on a magical run. That he's that dude and they don't have anyone on the Pat's to limit his speed. Plus their offense is abysmal. I think The Ravens are a team of destiny.

The Ravens aren't scrubs either. Though they lack star power at wr. They have a good young team.

The Ravens are about winning football. They're not worried about preserving Lamar Jackson for 10 years. They're taking advantages of his talent NOW. And they're adjusting their offense to suit his supreme talent. We have Zeke. He's supposed to be our workhorse. We paid him to be a workhorse. Forget preserving him. Run him into the ground if we need to win.
But no, we want to abandon the run (and Zeke) in the second half of games.

So he’s out rushed every running back not named Chubb, McCaffrey, Cook and Henry.

Kid is having an MVP year and deserves all of the credit in the world. Not many people thought he’d be this successful in the NFL.

What you need to be talking about is how a guy, who didn’t have the arm talent to be an NFL leads the NFL in touchdown passes with 33. He is 7 ahead of second place

He can throw because of his threat as a runner which open up receiving lanes. But he can't win without using his legs as we seen over and over again. He has lot of TD's but low passing yardages.
