I understand the hatred for JG, I get it, Im right there with the mob,, but no way can I ever watch a Cowboys game and hope that they loose.

Maybe if he promises to NOT sign a new contract even if they win a trophy the team will wake up! Right now they know they are close to having a real coach and might not want to screw that up!

I hear you. It sounds childish I know. I just don't see them turning it around and I believe Garrett must go.

and he will, and I don't think Jerry is a stupid man, and he knows this fan base drives his revenue, and he knows that retaining JG would be a major blow to this fan base and
his cap sales would fall off the chart.
JG is a dead man walking despite the outcome at this point, because we know that this team can not fulfill the ultimate obligation which is win a SB, this team would get crushed in the first round, but I will still maintain my personal fanhood on Sundays.

At this point the only thing Garrett probably wants to say is “goodbye”. And the feeling is mutual. I just wish the Jones Cartel would leave too but Santa can’t make all our dreams come true.

Seriously, I think Garrett is going through the motions at this point. He’s not stupid. He knows the gallows are around the corner for him so I doubt he’s fired up to get his butt handed to him by a 12-4 wild card team in the first round of the playoffs. This date is over and he’s probably already mentally moved on to his future whatever that may be.

Just for grins, I would love to see Garrett go scorched earth the rest of the season. Onside kicks to start the game, fake punts, going for it on 4th every time, crazy gadget plays. I would wear some wild *** Hawaiin shirt on the sidelines with shades and straw fedora, cigar in mouth. Why not? He could turn from being America’s most milk toast vanilla bore to the toast of the TV starting Sunday. A margarita in one hand and no headset. Dance moves and clapping, clapping, clapping...always clapping as a tip of the cap to all his fans.

Why not? Lol.

If I was Garrett I would show some pride walk into Jerry's office and tell him after the season is over I have no interest in working with him anymore. As an owner you don't hang all this over the coaches head especially in the middle of a season. As bad as Garrett might be.... Jones is 10 times worse. Jerry brags about his loyalty..... real loyalty. Going behind Garrett's back and talking to other people about replacing Garrett and at the same time saying he supports Jason 100%. Completely two faced.

I cant even begin to fathom what can you possibly say to these players, that hasn't been said before? Is it to late? Would you just go through the motions, just to finish the year? Is it to late for some players? Some look to have their priorities tied to other things, other than football.
