Not me.

Moore has not taken Dak and let him run wild like the Ravens do Jackson.

Why not?

Clearly last year we won games with his running.

Now..nothing.

I watched Jackson destroy the defense and I realize Jackson is different.

But I do not see the Ravens being squeamish about injury to Jackson.

On the contrary, he was already injured going into last night's game.

So what are we waiting for Mr. Moore?

It's about too late for you to change anything enough to better win.

So run RPOs, tell Dak to takeoff even if somebody is open.

Run plays with Zeke trailing and pitch to him down the sidelines.

Shake up the other team and dictate what we want to do.

Grow a pair, Moore.

Get off speed dial to Linehan and open the new playbook you said you had.

Like he did to the Commanders this year? No, I am not satisfied with his lack of running. He should run at least 8 times every game. Give the defense something else to worry about. Someone I bet is telling Dak, the best way to get the FAT contract you want is to lead the league in passing yards. So audible out of running plays and throw, throw, throw the ball. Keep throwing it Dak so you can get paid.

Dak has done some terrific situational running even in the past couple of games. He had a terrific run for a 1st and another that was about 1 foot short that they converted on 4th.

They ran the QB keep on 4th down at least 2 times this season.

Fans/media love to focus on the obvious like extreme rushing by a QB like Jackson but situational football is what wins most games over seasons and years.

Dak is the best he'll be right now in terms of running. I'm not sure why everyone is so fixated on it. He has some mobility and some power running, and that has helped in games, but he's not Jackson and Wilson.

Opposing teams are wary of Zeke's knack for dominating in the running game and are guarding more carefully in stopping it. I don't doubt in Ezekiel's tendency to be somewhat less forceful this year for getting the big gains for whatever reason but he seems to be gradually getting back to his former self in terms of his physical conditioning. His holdout did him no favors in that regard, although he's slowly recovering.

Nevertheless, Moore needs to be his own man and do what is necessary to avoid recent dependence upon run calling on first down and placing undo emphasis on it as a predictable call. The OL simply isn't the force that they were in the past. An even distribution of passing and running plays on 1st down would very likely be a more successful option now. Moore must be his own man and so what he, himself, deems most successful.

Hum..

Situational football?

Evety down is situational.

Figure it out and dictate the situation.

I like what you are trying to say..

so are you satisfied with Daks running overall?

Adequate or lacking or needs work.?

That's my question.

No, just like with Zeke they ran him twice in the first drive vs the Bills only to abandon it the rest of the game.

Dak’s a very physical runner who isn’t afraid of contact, but he’s not very fast.

The more times he runs, the more times he gets hit and the more likely it is that he gets hurt.

Yes.

Stopping the 1st down runs with Zeke is mandatory for shaking up tendencies.

I would prefer a screen pass to Cooper to start the game.

I just want change.

I am sure the team is tired of lining up against the same formations designed to stop them.

Come up with something.

That's my question.

How many Lamar Jackson style QBs have won a Super Bowl?

Russell Wilson only runs slightly more than Dak.

Steve Young is probably the SB winner that ran the most but he was still more of a scrambler than QB/RB type.

Staubach was a great scrambler but not a "running QB" per se.

Cam Newton got to the Super Bowl and lost to (at that point in time) a statue with minimal remaining arm strength.

Brady makes avoiding sacks and avoiding getting hit a top priority and that's not a new concept for him.

RG3 looked like the next Mega-Star but he ran too much and didn't have a Cam Newton body (Cam is bigger than LBs). RG didn't develop as a passer and master of passing game concepts in part because he could always tuck and run when he needed to until he couldn't...
