Most of these “journalists” are a joke. Nick What’s-his-name on First Things First is more impressed with 6-7 Philly’s escape from 3-10 Washington than he is with Dallas’ blowout of the Rams! Why is that?

It’s weird to see people who follow the team and speak to the players agreeing with what I’ve been saying all along. Not sure what to make of it.

What employee wants a new boss to come in and take over? Of course the players support Garrett. It's just human nature, no one likes change. But the question remains can Jason Garrett take this team to a Superbowl? Due to his struggles to self analyze and make in game adjustments, I'd say no.

Nonsense. Not 'of course the players support Garrett'. There are many teams who would LOVE to have a new coach. They like Garrett because:

- He's smart
- He delivers a message that resonates
- He's fair
- He works his tail off
- He's a good coach

The whole 'SB or bust' mentality isn't just not realistic, it's incredibly lazy thinking. If Garrett makes progress (read: wins the wildcard round if we make the playoffs, and then at least makes the divisional game competitive), he won't lose his job.

If Jerry can't, for whatever reason, get his top choice, I'm not convinced they even have to win a playoff game.

If they win the next two, I could see Jerry thinking that Jason can get the players to play hard, and he can improve the scheme/play-calling in other ways. Like bringing in Norv to help Kellen or changing the defensive staff.

Even if Vegas took straight up bets on whether Jason returns, I wouldn't touch it.

I was speaking on the current situation in Dallas. Which includes the players, the coaches, the schemes and Garrett's record.

This team is not a bottom of the barrel type team. Garrett has kept these guys on par for the coarse at the very least. See, when things are going horribly wrong people welcome change. But when things are just fine they rebuke it. Human nature, right? Well things are just fine right now in Dallas.

Garrett doesn't have this team headed in the wrong direction. But there are certain positions as well as coaches that are holding this team back. Offensive play calling, Marinelli, DT's, SS, LG, etc. So until he begins to understand what's holding him back, I doubt he'll ever win a Superbowl in Dallas.

I'm sorry but this team is 7-7, stop thinking about the micro (44-21) and think about the macro (10 tears 3 playoff wins).

I'm not a Garrett fan. But I understand why he hasn't lost these players yet. It's because he's not a loser. He's average, but he's not a loser. (with nine years and two playoff wins) He's lost most fans, but not the players.
