Yeah, we have a pretty good idea of this. Again, one is a Hall of Fame coach that is roundly praised for his coaching abilities and the other is a mediocre HC that has 2 playoff wins in a decade and likely will be fired in a few weeks unless something drastic happens.

Again, you are simply confirming what I said earlier.............. you actually think there is little difference between Garrett and Belichick.

That's downright preposterous.

No you don't know, you have no idea. it downright stupid to say you do. would Belicheck have had the same success in Cleveland? probably not. circumstances shaped both of their careers.

Our tes scored 1 td last year in 15 games but did any substitution take place? Did anybody get benched? Nope its the set it and forget it philosophy that keeps us mediocre.

So it's time for you to admit Dre, that this team sucks and is vastly overrated by the media and fans. If coaching is overrated and players win. It's the next logical step.

Interesting. Kevin Gilbride was promoted in 2006 from qb coach to Offensive Coordinator when Tom Coughlin fired John Hufnagel for throwing all the time.

Hard circle to square if coaching doesn't matter.[/QUOTE
If coaching didn't matter, then why do they get hired, and why do they get millions to coach, and why are they allowed to teach and train football players and cut players and such?

in the grand scheme of things he didn't, just as McVay didn't outcoach him. I play these games with you minions. It's the players that outplayed the rams players and executed better than the Rams. As I said you find ways to pin losses on him, now you act like in your world you can't find ways he won...lol
Although I do not agree with your stance on our coaching situation I can appreciate your conviction and how you stick to your guns.

So many flip flop now and it's always nice to see someone stay true to their beliefs.

He also had to deal with a situation that no other coach has ever dealt with too. funny you ignore that, and the same HOF coach Parcells did no better.

I’m done w/ Garrett. I didn’t like the way he got the job, I was a little excited at his early success—then the 8-8 seasons I was ready to jump ship, but was impressed that JJ was showing restraint.
Then we go to the playoffs a few times....injuries killed us in’16 so he had an out.
But this year.....yea- I’m done.

All that said— I do think it is EXTREMELY valid and fundamental that Garrett has to deal with one of the two or three worst GM/ owner combinations in football.

I think the Commanders may be worse......Cleveland is right there too.

Who can walk thine with JJ? I think that is an extremely short list. But that’s where the problem lies.

I'm one of the first guys to defend JG, if for no other reason than the fact that with Jerry in charge, what makes anyone on here think anything will change by changing coaches? HAVING SAID THAT, you have to be blind to not see some erroneous gameday things this year that seem to fall on the coaching staff during the action. I've seen more things that I blame the coaching staff for this year during games than in years past. I always hope the team wins, but the JG show has probably run its course.

How did he outcoach mcvay? It's a simple question. Teach us football sir
His team was much better prepared. That was clear.
Just like it wasn't prepared vs the Jets or vs the Rams in last year's playoffs
:muttley:

Anyway, coaching is a staff-wide thing. The coaching staff (HC included) did a better job this week than the Rams staff

it's overrated,

So Bill Belichick is pretty much like Jason Garrett because coaching is overrated? I guess Belichick saying good players can’t overcome bad coaching is false because it’s all on the players according to you? Coaching is overrated in a league were talent is pretty equal with free agency and coaching doesn’t give a team an edge? So explain if coaching is so overrated and doesn’t matter as much as you say then why in 10 years has Garrett not brought one team to the NFC championship game? Plenty of pro-bowl talent throughout the years and two very good QB’s. You would think by shear luck they would get to one since coaching doesn’t matter. I digress, coaching apparently is overrated. Just line up and execute.
