After watching the Iggles last 3 games, not even sweating it. I just hope we get the hawks instead of the niners because I think we beat the former but lose to the latter.

Just another typical bi polar day at the Zone. One week we’re doomed and a horrible team, the next we’re on our way to the Super Bowl. My personal favorite is how much “talent” a lot of fans say we have but those same fans are the ones starting threads, and contributing to threads, bashing half our roster

Are you drunk on the blue koolaid? The Cowboys will be lucky to make the playoffs and will be bounced in the first round.

Well the good news - well, its not really good news - is that we are playing with house money at this point. The season has been crap, Garrett's about to be fired and we have nothing to lose, because we have practically lost it all already!

So, a NFCE championship, whether we beat the Eagles or back in the following week, followed by a home playoff game if it happens, followed by another playoff game or two if they happen, its ALL GRAVY at this point.

I'd like to think that the OL coach and the defensive coaches had an epiphany and now everything is fixed but the fact is that nobody knows or has a clue what will happen.

I’m not disputing that. I was saying what could happen.

I follow the betting line closely and Cowboys are usually over hyped.

I stand by my comment that if we finish strong the line will be closer than you might imagine now.

I stand by my comment as well. No matter who the Cowboys might play in the first round, the visiting team will be favored.

Well the 10-6 record went out the window! After the disappointing 4-3 start, when they should have been 6-1 at the bye week, I amended that prediction and said they would be lucky to get to 9-7, but quite possibly would finish with an 8-8 record, again.
If they lose to Philly Sunday, they could end up just folding against the skins in week 17 to finish 7-9.
They still have a shot to buck the trend and become NFCE Champs. With a win vs Philly Sunday they get the Banner and a play-off berth.
Which will it be?

If they do win Sunday it could mean that they have turned the corner on the season for the better. And it could be that they would be the team that no-one wants to face in the play-offs.

According to the poll a mod had up for a couple of days, its about 50/50 if you want the Cowboys to make the playoffs.

Half the board said "yes, anything can happen once you are in"

The other half said "hell no, Jerry might use making playoffs as an excuse to keep Garrett"

Some of y’all talk like we are always 8-8. Garrett dug us out of the Wade Phillips 1-7 start in 2010, to finish 6-10, that was 5-3 down the stretch! His first 3 full yrs while he was dismantling and rebuilding the team he went 8-8 We dipped under 500, in 2015 with Romo out, other than that he has been above 500. Am I right or wrong? I would say that is good having to deal with the piss poor staff he has hired for him and Jerry meddling in everything. I would really like to see how good he is given complete autonomy as the HC
