no, our run game should be used more, Pollard is more than ready, its out lack of using anything that works that is holding him back.

let Dak control the offense as its his offense. if he feels he can make the throw, make the throw, let the run game dictate it for this game. if he can run let him run.

I am not doubting you but he was injured mid 1st quarter and it sure didn't seem like he only threw 7 times over the final 3 quarters
Exactly what I was thinking.

The Cowboys OWNED the Rams the rest of the game after Dak got hurt.

Dak was 15-23 for the game and they scored 44 points.

Clearly they don't need a huge game from Dak to win.

Yeah it was an odd stat line...something you would are from aikmen in the 90s for that big of a win

Dak had 23 passing attempts

- Start of game Dak had 3 pass attempts
- Dak runs right for 7 yards and tackled by Mathews at 8:08 1st qtr
- remainder of the game Dak had 20 pass attempts

I mean during the very drive where he apparently got injured, he had 8 attempts (not to mention a 9th that was negated by penalty) after that play so not understanding this claim at all.

Pound Elliott all game long

and let dak throw it on play action

but open up the game with play action first since theyre going to put 13 in the box

Eagles will absolutely stack the box and take Zeke out of game if they want. But that would put alot of pressure on their marginal CB but that might be offset by Dak shoulder. I think Eagles make Dak & his questionable shoulder beat them. Zeke will look like he is running into stone wall for 4 quarters.

So the number of pass attempts after injury was 20?

Where the hell did 7 come from?

The 7 attempts doesn't tell the whole story... In the 3rd qtr. The run/pass ratio was 8/7 (+1scramble). Dak was 6-1 for 61 yards on those 7 attempts... And the score was 34-7 going into the 4th quarter.. There was no reason to pass after that... The goal was to run out the clock. The Cowboys first possession in the 4th was 7 straight runs for 53 yards. That drive ended with cowboys having a 30 point lead with less than 7 minutes left. You don't need to pass in that situation.

So it appears Dak didn't pass more than 7 times because he didn't need to. Also note, he also had 3 rushes in the 2nd half...not what you would expect from a QB with a shoulder issue.

I think it was meant 7 pass attempts in the 2nd half, which is true. I guess the argument that low amount of attempts were attributed to Dak's injured shoulder OR how far ahead the Boys were and resided to burning the clock.

I believe I read Dak isn't even listed on the injury report for tomorrow so his injury situation could be overblown.....i don't know.
