Dallas clinched the NFC east at Detroit in 2007 on a game winning TD from Romo to Witten.
I’m talking an elimination type game against a divisional opponent.

Worst loss in the Garrett Era and he can thank the guy playing quarterback whose leadership he and everyone else can't shut up about.
Exactly, this team and this organization has evolved into losers, they no longer have a winning culture. You can blame the owner for the losing culture and for wasting 10 years on a head coach that was never qualified to be the head coach.Howie Long basically said it...the Eagles have "championship DNA." The Cowboys have long since devolved into a self-defeating, losing culture. And I blame Jerry Jones - the one head that can't roll - for all of it.
BS. That idiot did everything he could do to lose the game. He did nothing to win the game. He’s an overrated pile of whatever.
You think it's coaching or is it that Dak couldn't get the win when it mattered most..in a win or go home game?

It’s mostly coaching.
I’m with you. Today’s team did pretty much what many expected...choked. Didn’t think that would happen in ‘07.I was way more disappointed for that 2007 loss to the giants in the playoffs. O choked and D didn’t play great either.
Good point. How is it a choke when this team in decades has not won this type of game on the road with so much on the line???
Business as usual
elimination type game would wrong also because the 2014 Cowboys went to philadelphia having to win to win the east and kicked their tail then clinched the east the following week.
I hope nobody tries to blame his shoulder or his finger, because the way he was heaving the ball downfield, overthrowing every time, there's no way he was bothered by injury.
You’re wrong you just said we didn’t clinch in Philadelphia that season we clinched the following week which was a home game.
He played poorly, but so did the receivers. This was a complete team effort.I hope nobody tries to blame his shoulder or his finger, because the way he was heaving the ball downfield, overthrowing every time, there's no way he was bothered by injury.
you said elimination type game for the east. If Dallas lost that game at philly they couldn't have won the division essentially. They won the game then clinched with a blowout over the colts.
This is it exactly. A championship team is made of players who crave being the best. Michael Irvin is a perfect example. Look at Irvin’s will to win vs Dak who demands top $ for accomplishing exactly zero in a short career. It’s what this team is as a whole - all glitz and show, no substance. Good stats and no substance.

Dak goes 3-5 and forces his team to trade for a WR and give up a first round pick, then demands top NFL QB money with no home team discount. That is a perfect reflection of this team. Take all the celebrity status that the Cowboys brand gives you without having to actually accomplish anything. Zeke had the nerve to hold out while under contract for a better deal without any team accomplishment whatsoever.
At least now they can come up with more nicknames for themselves.
Considering their record.. I'd say 2007 was 10x worse. How about 2014?
They lost to the eventual Superbowl winning team that year, today this team lost to a bunch of second stringers on life support. This was WAY bigger as far as chokes go so we will disagree on this.
