You let him walk.

He's perhaps the worst receiver you have now.

They benched him at the end. What else do you need to know?
He’s your best player. I don’t care what your imagination says. Fix him. Work with him. Coach him up. That’s what coaches do right?

This is who he's been his whole career.

Last six games.... No impact. None.

No.
It was a gamble that didn’t pay off. You lost draft capital that could have gone toward a younger receiver or a new QB. It ends up being a bad decision. Stop the bleeding by not chasing a dream.

Nope, he is soft and disappears when they need him the most.

I am starting to think paying WRs is a big mistake in this league.
Wait so don’t pay wr’s and don’t pay rb’s and franchise qb. So who do we pay?? Kicker?

He's not the Cowboys best player. He's arguably not even their best WR.

You don't give crazy money to a guy and hope you can "coach him up".

I'd say with Coop, you need to get the next coach in place and let them have a sit down. We can see from the stands that this team lacks leadership from the HBC position. Maybe he will go all in and play up to his potential if things change. I'd give him a decent 2 year contract and see how it pans out.

I don’t care about Jerry’s money. Sorry. Fans care far too much about their money. They have literally signed anyone they wanted. They’ve never lost a free agent they wanted. So no I don’t care about Jerry’s money with the salary cap is constantly going up while we field a mediocre product.

We need a leader and someone the Jones respect as a leader.

I am not going to judge Cooper off one game where the QB was junior league.... I am a Dak fan but he was terrible.. couldn't hit anyone in the hands. You lose in the NFL when that happens...end of story.

He hit cooper in the gut and he dropped it...what game were u watching...lol

It’s going to cost 18-20 million a year? I know we gave a 1st round pick. But , him taking himself out of the game on 4th downs , pouting, going half speed etc...I mean I wonder if we just draft the best WR round 1 instead.

We have no choice.

I was on the Cooper bandwagon but I think letting him go might be OK. We could keep Gallup and Cobb and maybe pick up someone in the draft.

Of course it is hard to catch passes if you aren't targeted but he has been outplayed by mediocre DBs for a few weeks now.

Not top 10 money

i think you still sign him but not for market setting. He “likes it here” and left money on the field. Reasonable deal and you absolutely lock him up. Definitely been a disappointing month, but can’t discount what he’s done since arriving

You think it's one game? Coop is not a reliable WR and he disappears on the road.

Franchise TAG Coop and get a QB that can actually throw to him ACCURATELY!!!

P.S. Remember WR come to Dallas to DIE......right Dez....right Beasley....etc etc
