Anyone else to add to Urban, Roman, and Riley list?

Take Roman off of it.

The thing about him is I don't think there is a more perfect guy in this league besides maybe Payton to call plays for this offense.

He would put the players in the best position for success.

Don't think it will be a college coach (JJ mentioned something to that effect already). I think it will be Rivera (respected amongst players and knows defense), won't rock the boat with JJ. Moore will stay as OC (because JJ said so). In 5 years, there will be a new coach.....wash, rinse, repeat.

Anyone to add to that list?

No retreads is really my only requirement. I don't want some other teams Jason Garrett.

McCarthy is a big no from me. The guy has had Favre and Rodgers and has very little to show for it in a division he was favored in almost every year.

Urban... Great leader but what will X's and O's look like?

Roman... X's and O's will be great but he kinda gives me a Wade Phillips vibe. Maybe not as Golly Gee Wiz as Wade. I could be wrong here though.

Riley.. I just feel like this job may still be too big for him and he hasn't done anything at the College level besides show that he is a fantastic play designer. Also, why would he want to leave that cush job?

He can go beat up on bad teams every year and get a free trip to the playoffs and everyone will praise him for it.
Give me Roman or Ron Rivera.

If Rhule is the guy, a buyout won't stop Jerry.

But I think Riley is Jerry's guy, all the way. There were rumours of it last year, and he kept JG on a one-year leash this year on purpose.

Yeah, we are all spitballing here. I don't know if a costly buyout will prohibitive for them or not. Folks can point to the Parcells arrangement in 2003, but then there's every other hire to consider here, too.

We shall see.

All I’m interested in right now is getting rid of Jason Garrett, because that breaks completely the cultural ties in Jerry’s World. Then there is no emotional attachment vested and Jerry won’t have difficulty changing the next HC if he doesn’t perform.
Bingo!!! :hammer::hammer::hammer:

I think the list should be

Dabo
Urban
Rhule

Greg Roman would be doing wonders if given this OLine and RBs to implement a power running game. Instead we opted to hand the reins to Kellen Moore.

I mentioned Roman weeks ago. My only fear is that he’s Freddie Kitchens. They even look alike. But he has made two QB’s that couldn’t throw into QB’s. We need a top notch DC too. Like Rivera type or like Gregg Williams.

Josh McDaniels should not in, any way, be mentioned for this franchise. Besides the fact he sucked in Denver, people forget he went to the Rams under Spagnola as OC and they were 32nd in the league in points at 12 points per game.

I think it’s already abundantly clear that it’s all Bellichek and his right hand man, Ernie Adams that oversee the whole show, including all the WR pick routes. And Dante Scarnecchia as OL coach.

I would add Josh McDaniels. Play design is top notch and he has allegedly been afforded more opportunity on the personnel side than any other assistant since he didn’t take the Colts job.

Somehow got Tebow to the playoffs and beat Pittsburgh.

My other big concern with this team is all 4-3. It makes it tougher to disguise defense.

Problem is that Belichick's assistants are terrible.

If the guy in Detroit can't get it going then I don't give any of them much hope.

Garrett coached under Saban in Miami. All these guys, including Linehan did. We need to get completely away from that tree.

I agree. Roman is just such a good playcaller and fits what we do with the Oline and Zeke.

I'm out on Ron Rivera.

He's a retread that brings no hope or excitement to the franchise.

He’s still a better option than Garrett. He’s actually coached his club to. SB and has had his teams make it to championship games. He is also an excellent defensive coordinator better than the fossil and loudmouth we have currently.

Belichick and Payton are the dream but I don't know how we could pull that off even if the Cowboys wanted to.
Rumors are all I hear but Belichick want to prove it wasn't Brady, or just Brady. He's approached Jones before.

New England is about to have to blow it up and start over. I also hear rumors Brady wants to go to the west coast. If they will have him. :)

Long shotI'm well aware. But who knows.
