I can live with him on a 7.5 million per year deal. I shudder to think of what he is gonna get on the open market. Consider the pick sunken costs and be prepared to move on. Man we are a poorly run franchise.
7.5? Cole Beasley making 12 lol..Amari making 13.9 now....Amari will get 17-19 a year easy. ..this isnt 1990

It's clear: He is what he is at this point. There is no fixing him. He's a guy capable of having huge games and disappearing for a long time. It seems like he doesn't have much passion for the game. He's been dropping a ton of passes since college. He isn't a #1 WR.

Broaddus destroying soft #19 on the Fan right now.
Blame Garrett for taking him out on 4th down..blame Garrett for not putting him in motion, moving him around ..he goes against top DB every week still has about 1200 yards & hes been hurt all year

Why is this surprising? He was inconsistent in OAK and led the league in drops for two years.

He wants to test the FA market.

Please, Jerry, just blow this thing up. Get rid of every single loser on this team. I'd rather go through a 3 year rebuild than keep doing this crap every year.
Its a rebuild until JJ dies. Leadership starts at the top and the Cowboys have terrible leadership. The last 25 years are no fluke.

He's not a winner. Can't pay guys like that. If he stays on for $8M/year, I'd do that deal. He's not a lead dog.
He doesn’t care about winning enough. He doesn’t have enough attitude. The last play on offense he allows himself to be taken out. There is no way in hel_ he should have allowed himself to be taken out of that game.

That is a huge issue on this team. To many talented players( Lawrence, Zek, Cooper) take themselves out at key times during games.

I mean.. I've seen the guy make huge game winning plays here and he has almost no emotion.

He's like the Tim Duncan of WR's.

My guess is Amari Cooper is just hurt because he doesn't look anything like he did.
I'll bet his stomach hurts after getting hit with the ball.

We need a reciever that's tough as nails and can play like a true #88.

Take your choice.

1)Laviska Shenault Jr. f/ Colorado.
2) Bryan Edwards f/ S.Carolina.
3) Kalija Lipscomb f/ Vanderbilt.
4) Kendrick Roger's f/ Texas A&M.
5) Denzel Mims f/ Baylor.
6) Chris Blair f/ Alcorn.

I'd add Thadius Moss, TE from LSU. He's an amazing pass catcher.

But, he'll go in the first round and I think we need DL & SS players first.

Since week 7, Cooper had 5 games where he was held for 30 yards or less. One game he had 1 catch for 3 yards, and another game where he completely ghosted. The Chicago game, he showed up in garbage time with Dak and padded some stats - he had 5 TDs within the first 6 weeks of the season, and 3 TDs the last 10 games. His bad hands from Oakland have come back this year, and the "no passion for football" type attitude Raiders fans told me about is starting to show as well. Dude mentally checks out when things get tough.

Might be the most overrated player currently on this team. Topping both Prescott and Zeke. PFF even took a shot at this dude.

Pretty obvious whatever is wrong with Coopers knee is going to need surgery to fix!

Whats he saying
Basically, and I agree with this sentiment, that Amari gets frustrated and shuts himself down when things in the organization are not going well. He did the same thing in Oakland, and now he's doing it in Dallas. He didn't have that problem in Alabama because he was spoon-fed everything and had top tier coaches watching over him and winning National Championships. He's also soft. You think Irvin or Dez would sit contently on the sideline on a critical 4th down with a season on the line? Hell no. Amari is trash, and I've caught flack for this all season. Marcus Peters told you after the Divisional Round last year - dude plays like he wants his mama.

He also motioned that Dallas shouldn't pay Amari, and instead go after a Ceedee Lamb type of player.

I am not sure what to think about Amari

He’s fine. Don’t believe that narrative. He said himself he’s felt the best he has in a long time in the Vikes game or somewhere around that time. He’s just shutting down like he did in Oakland. He hasn’t changed and we were fools to believe he did.
