If we win against Commanders and Eagles lose to Giants, will Garrett get an extension.

Stranger things have happened.

Keep in mind that Jerry Jones ran off a back-to-back SB-winning coach.

Considering that the Cowboys continue to be the most profitable team in pro sports, extending a mediocre slug, who Jones happens to have a man-crush on, is well within bounds.

Boys and girls the chances of a Philly loss and Cowboys win is very, very low.

Garrett wants out of Dallas. He won't accept an extension.

Why would he ever want to leave? Jerry makes every excuse for him possible. Sadly for Garrett, there may not be anymore possible excuses.

Only Vince Lombardi trophy number six should save Garrett at this point.

So in other words, he's gone.

No! He’d have to AT LEAST go to the NFCCG. Why would they reward a backdoor playoff appearance at 8-8?

I also agree with some others that I’m not sure he wants to be here

Ideally Garrett should coach some other franchise so that we fans know if the problem is Jerry or Garrett. Because you cannot hold any man accountable while you make all the decisions such as coordinators etc for him.
Garrett asked for Scott and rod. You need to stop

I don't even want to talk about those odds because they favor what we all regret way too much

The Commanders are depleted and will probably tank and the Giants look like a different team with a healthy Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley.

Just watch- our agony will get prolonged another week with an embarrassing playoff defeat and a lower draft pick to boot.

If they advance a couple of rounds yes he would.
We're asking for an awful lot for the Giants to beat the Eagles in the first place and then we have the Monumental task of beating the Commanders who are much improved Bill Callahan knows what he's doing he greatly improved our offense while he was here I guarantee you regardless of how good the Commanders are he will have them ready to play

I seriously doubt that. Where else but Dallas would he have such job security? 10 years at HC for... Nothing.

Pretty good gig if you can get it.

Increasingly, I think this is true. Aikman's comments about Jerry not letting Garrett do his job may very well have their genesis is conversations between the two former teammates. We really don't know just how much control Jerry exerts. We got a glimpse when he hired Kiffin, so it could be the case that Jerry is the reason Marinelli is still in the DC.
Most of the hires were those that Garrett had in his network minus Callahan. Garrett only had 2 years experience as a position coach before coming to Dallas. He doesn’t have some extensive network of peers to comb through. Hence why he brought in his brothers, Linehan and Kiffin/Marinelli combo.

I’m sure Jason wasn’t standing on the table for Kris or Kellen, but he didn’t have any alternatives to offer. It wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t suggest one of his brothers again (especially the one that bounced from college to college every year).

Garret did not bring in Kiffin/Marinelli.
