The only thing....I mean the only thing that will work here is what worked in the early 90s. Hire a strong HC in charge of the staff, players and locker room. That’s the only formula that has ever worked with Jerry.

Jerry is a softie and an eternal optimist. Jimmy was a a hard *** with a worst case scenario preparation plan. They balanced each other out very well. IfJerry hires another young assistant or anyone else who will just let him play football big shot in every area of the team untethered, it won’t matter if Vince Lombardi or Tom Landry are raised from the dead to coach this team, it will never work. How much more evidence is needed to see that Jerry is THE problem?

Yes, but in other news, have you seen this new piece of artwork Gene just acquired for the stajum? It is truly a one of a kind work of art! It features 24 plains animals, each one representing the consecutive seasons Papa Jerry has led this team to post season nada. They should mention it in the national broadcast Sunday like they always do.

If you get to feeling down about our slim chances to make a deep playoff run, just remember two things: 1) We have great artwork at the stajum & 2) We are the most profitable sports and nfl franchise! Woo hoo, now that's something us fans can be proud of!

He wants another enabler who "has his back", as he admitted a few weeks ago.

Country club.....balderdash. just a few weeks ago the team had to practice outdoors 3 times in 60 degree weather.
AND maybe WE aint as talented as we think we are on the field. It very well could be that simple. But make no mistake, our coaching is absolute garbage. The problem is, you cannot suddenly change culture and habits midseason..ie the outdoor practices. That horse done left the stable lol. Ya just cannot undo bad habits in a week.

so enter Norv Turner or Richard, or Ron Rivera. ONE NAME that I would be ok with is Dan Campbell. It might be a sneaky good HC move. A Sean Payton deciple.

Actually I expect him to at least get an interview. Remember Payton and Stephen both are on the competition committee. Pretty sure Payton will pimp him IF he wants an interview.

Players should file a grievance.

It is a good article very much like the majority of commentary that has preceded it for a very long time—namely that a major problem for the Cowboys must be fixed and then not focus upon the main solution to the major problem. Jerry Jones as general manager is the major problem and the one person who can facilitate the solution.

The author does touch on the subject. Examples:

“...he needs to love it a little less and actually consider... and even front office staff with a diversity of background that can challenge the stale status quo.”

“He’s not just the owner, but he’s also the general manager, which eliminates one more voice out of the decision-making process.”

The most obvious solution is to find some fresh ideas. If nearly everyone is from the Cowboys and has always known the Cowboys’ way and has little to no experience with a team owner not named Jerry Jones, then perhaps the ideas, the internal debates, and the thought process get stagnant.

****************
Good but not enough. More commentary, from articles to talk shows, should make the meat of their thoughts about the one constant since he bought the franchise.

Successful businesses are not afraid of change. Jones has played his part in achieving great things inside and outside of football LONG ago. He has always had the opportunity of attaining even greater success by allowing unsupervised fresh perspective in football matters.

He has never wanted someone else to share appropriate credit in his franchise’s successes. And those individuals who have mass access to the public he provides entertainment, rarely drive that fact home. The funny thing is that commentary centered on Jones could have the greatest impact on Jones himself.

It's gonna be Hue Jackson, Kris Richard, or Eric Mangini guys ....

Jerry never fails to deliver mediocrity .. To summarize:

Just replace NY with Dallas
