I was a Jason guy at one time.... a couple,of years ago I heard him speak on tv. Then he lost me...he would never motivate me or any kid I ever coached. I was so surprised by this that I jumped over on he needs to go the very same day.

I know he is a good person as I'd Dak but they both need to leave this team.

Thats an interesting tid-bit RE: marinelli & richard. I dont know why they thought having two cooks in the kitchen was a good idea, should have gave Marinelli the boot a long time ago.
I have not double checked, but I believe Dallas is the only team in the NFL that has a "Passing Game Coordinator" and "Running Game Coordinator" positions on offense or defense. And Dallas as have had both.

If true this will be fascinating because Garrett has built his "vision" on preaching accountability.

"Fight"
"Compete"
all these flashy slogans, etc.

I mean, I know it's just a slogan on a t shirt and I get that, but the fact is this is how he has built his vision for his tenure as head coach. This is how he sold and positioned himself

if it was all a facade and the evidence is about to come pouring out, it's going to be ugly. Even uglier than any of us might suspect.....

I think Garrett does sincerely believe in his mantras. He probably genuinely does believe in things like fight, competing, accountability, everyone doing their job, having that underdog spirit, etc. etc., all those good qualities. Probably every NFL coach does.

It's just that he can't instill them in the players.

If all it took to be a Belichik or Jimmy Johnson was to desire the results and team philosophy/culture of Belichick or JJ, then every NFL head coach would be a Belichick or JJ. Some just can't convert vision into true results.

Says there’s a lack of accountability. If Philly wins next week, there will be a lot of drama released. I also recall that there is a division amongst the defense. Broaddus talked about it earlier this season. Some are Pro-Marinelli, and some are Pro-Richard (Jaylon and D-Law). Might be why our defense sucks and can’t do anything right.

There’s definitely some player division not only on the defensive side but also on the offensive side. I don’t think Dak and Cooper are on the same page and I think Zeke and his feed me marketing non-sense is rubbing some the wrong way.

Cowboys are extremely compartmentalized, it is not an ideal organizational set up and a big problem here.

NO!!! Don't tell me that the Red Clapper went to a Dodger's game or a Kentucky basketball game instead of preparing for one of those pesky, playoff games????
That would never happen if your coach was committed to winning.

The red headed turd went to Duke (gag) basketball games. You keep him away from my Wildcats! I don’t want them infected! LOL

That's a pretty interesting take that bears further consideration

It sure seems that way huh? Many times I've felt like the D-line had no clue what coverage they were in. Sure seemed like a disconnect there many times.

I heard a theory on this very forum that it’s possible the O-line decided to “not run block well” for Zeke due to his holdout over the summer. Probably 99% conspiracy, but I think there is divide in this locker room.

Dak, Zeke.
The O-line
The WR’s
The entire secondary (Heath, Chido, J-Lee, Byron)
D-line and LB’s.

They’re All separated and divided. Like more than just position, but I genuinely don’t think these groups intermingle or even like each other at times. Remember, the players didn’t even know Kai Forbath’s name. Some (this was weeks ago) didn’t know their game schedules until a week before they played them...

Zeke's "feed me" is probably annoying to the O-line, who does a lot of the work for him. Sure, he's a great back, but how often do you see him talking up the work the rest of the offense does for him?

I think this is the biggest negative influence Garrett has on Dak. Dak sounds just like Garrett at press conferences.

Isn't ironic that these players played their best football when they were rookies? Then the Cowboy coaching staff came along and ruined it.

I honestly believe that the Garrett just doesn't know how to coach a football team. Doesn't how to strategize, doesn't know the Xs and Os, doesn't adapt and can't make changes during a game.

He still hasn't learned after 10 years.

That's probably why the players are the way they are. They just can't phantom a coach who doesn't do anything but give butt slaps and claps.

I figured. This team has never had unity. There's always divisions in the locker room it seems. That's what separates okay teams from the great ones.

Wait, It cant be. No unity, no harmony with Witten and Lee still in the folds. Guess we cant blame TO and Dez for this one. ;)

Leadership at the most important position (HC) is in question? Well that's what you get when you hire a puppet, Jerry.

Its gotta be tough when one of your main leaders (Witten) wont relinquish his starting job to someone that is better and the coach wont do whats best for the team. At that point people start losing credibility.

It's obvious he did not want Moore.
Maybe what's going to come to light is Garrett has been sabotaging Moore like he did Wade. JG doesn't want to share the credit for the offense success. Another lesson he learned from Jerry Jones.

We're through the looking glass people. We've seen the truth.

A story was on the Herd a couple of weeks ago...I still find hard to believe. Garrett would actually cut out all the negative plays in a game tape review...because he didn't want to hurt team moral.

I'm like..... ***???? :omg:

How are players supposed to get better...if they don't know they are making a mistake to begin with? If this story is true....then it would explain a lot why this team doesn't get better. They don't even acknowledge their mistakes....Jesus what a bad idea. :banghead:
That's the most what the **** ****ery I've ever heard. Wonder when that habit started.
