LOL......who wanna bet they damn near give us the game

There's a debate on who they would take at #2.
To me, the best player in the draft, hands down, is DE Chase Young.
Just don't see how they could pass on him
But some say the top OT, Andrew Thomas, may be the target. If so, they don't need the 2nd pick as much....unless they want to trade down.

So there are fans here who would be happy with back into the playoffs and be totally embarrassed first game?

Basically what I am hearing in this post is only if the Commanders and the Giants have an ounce of something to play for would determine if we get in the playoffs. Let that sink in

Since we are talking loss and draft picks, what is the difference in our pick between loss and win to Commanders?

Imho that's the worst thing that could happen to this team you drop four or five spots lower in the draft. We have like four free agent DT that are jags I'd like to replace one of hem with a Javon Kinlaw. 8-8 average team, average pick. Thank coach Garrett

I agree, and I don't want it to happen. However, I could just see it happening. We win the game, and lose in the long run as Garrett's parting "gift".

The last thing I want is to watch this unlikable, embarrassing Cowboys roster play a playoff game this season.

Call me a sadist, but I can't ever not want my team to play another game. The offseason is long and I'd still have a glimmer of hope that we could somehow win a playoff game. I don't want the team to do just enough for Garrett to keep his job, though. It needs to be either Super Bowl or bust for him (and I don't see any way this team makes the Super Bowl even if it somehow wormed its way into the playoffs).

So Urban could go to Washington, have cronies like Haskins, McLaurin, Smith, and be able to draft another one in Chase Young?

Plus a millions and total control?

Say what you want about Dan Snyder being a midget Beelzebub (which he is), but at least you don't have to see his withered face in the press after every game like Jerry.

They are not even worried about it. Anybody picking in the top 5 is pretty much guaranteed a day 1 starter for the season, Do you realy really think it matters to them if they are drafting 2nd or 3rd? 1st overall might but not 2nd or 3rd

Yes. It does. Because the second overall pick is worth a lot more in a trade back than the 3rd, 4th or 5th would be.

everyone worried about the Commanders pick at #2 - they suck at drafting - let them worry about it....what is more important to me is that you KNOW that Dallas and Philly both win, meaning that Dallas will have the best record of non-playoff teams so they will draft around #20 or #21 with a win - each round

so Garrett destroys this team's chances all year, then finally gets them to win this week - just to stick to the fans one more time before he puts his house up for sale

With as much money as Garrett has made I highly doubt he will have to sell his house if he chooses not to.

We better not even kick a field goal. Don’t let the Commanders suck better then we can.
