F-

all the stats and numbers don’t amount to anything...

He failed when it counted the most and against teams he and his teammates should have had no trouble winning against.

And yes it is a team sport, but when you’re missing receivers with errant throws or simply throwing short...

F- is what you deserve

A quarterback leading the NFL in passing cannot be smoke and mirrors.

A quarterback cannot fake pass yards.

Ours did he padded his stats bigtime in the 4th quarter of games we were out of

against GB we are losing 31-10 after 3 quarters ...bunch of junk time yards in the 4th for Dak
against the Jets we are losing 21-9 after 3 quarters...bunch of junk time yards in the 4th for Dak
against the Bears we are down 24-7 after 3 quarters...bunch of junk time yards in the 4th for Dak

there were a couple of other games too one against the Bills and i think one other

Prescott was one yard shy of the Man, the Myth, the Legend...Tony Romo. The greatest QB who will ever suit up for any football team ever.

even those aside, not smoke and mirrors.

Also, what was he supposed to do when the defense threw the game away?

7/10

Had big games against weak competition, not so much in games versus good teams and/or good defenses.

He improved in some areas, and made good strides in ball protection.

B.. as we have all seen he has to battle Garrett also. He’s had some bad games tho don’t get me wrong but I would love to see how he plays with proper guidance

Are you really just playing stupid to the point you don't understand defenses change late in the game when they have a comfortable lead and why QB stats in those moments can be inflated?

Can you show me the stats from Dak when he was trailing by a few this season? Why did he struggle against the Saints and Eagles and not get those big yards? Maybe it's because the defenses were still playing tight and aggressive? Hmm...

B+ against teams under .500
C- against teams .500 or better

Against playoff caliber teams = D+

Jamies Winston led the league in yards this year and he is awful.
Aw gee, I wonder why that is?

Oh yeah, because Jameis threw three times as many interceptions as Dak did.

30(!) interceptions for Winston this year.

Good joke, though.

No doubt, they did everything they could to help the guy.
except run the ball.

I'd give him a c+ / b- . I think he went overboard trying to prove the 'pocket passer' theory about him wrong. It seemed like he could've and should've taken off and run more than he did. I also think he suffered from not having the veteran cache to override bad calls when they came in from the sideline. Romo used to do it but it took him 6yrs under JG to get to the point where he knew he could negate his calls. Dak being a young qb he's still a good soldier and not going to go rogue on JG and Moore and it hurt us. Teams have been saying for years that they can dictate what our offense does pre-snap. Veteran qbs can combat that and Dak's not there yet. We needed him to take over at times, I think he's capable of it but he just didn't do it.
