You are upset that the Cowboys beat legit pro NFL teams. Wins against teams that finish poorly count as 1 win just like a win vs winning teams. Just like a win in the Super Bowl counts as just one win. If you remember to celebrate a win like today just like you would if the cowboys had won the super bowl you would be happier. But then ignorance is bliss as they say... If you value winning a Super Bowl more than a regular season win, you are not a true fan.
You should be embarrassed.

So you're saying that beating a team that is by all visual accounts tanking just as good of a win as beating a team that went 14-2 in the regular season and made it to the SB? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Any win is a good win, but some mean more than others. Ask the players. Ask anyone.

I'm trying on homer perspective for a bit. It's pretty absurd. You realize there are plenty of fans that value each win in the regular season equivalently?

Jerry loves himself fans like that guy. That's what keeps Jerry happily pocketing cash while being able to do what he wants without any accountability.
I really hope he replies, that post is truly fascinating. If he’s trolling, well played, mission accomplished, he got our attention. If not, I want know more about how this guy thinks about things in life. He’s got the potential to be a fun science project.

So this isn’t your normal perspective and you were just making that up?

1 and 7 against playoff teams.

1 and 7. Yet, the past month and a half Jerry kept talking about this team going on magical run.

At no point in his tenure, did Garrett show any sign of suddenly getting it. Certainly not 10 years in.

You think this mess is on Garrett? Almost the total blame should go on Jerry. He should be held accountable. But he won't. Second verse, same as the first.

I celebrate each win. A win is a win. But that doesn't mean I don't realize that some are more difficult than others to achieve. If they're more difficult, that makes them sweeter because you know of the heart and effort put into it.

So yeah, beating an really good team with a strong showing of heart and effort means more than beating a team that put practice squad guys in because they're both injury-riddled and tanking.

It doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the wins against terrible teams. It just means I realize what goes into each win.

I applaud you for trying the homer perspective. I tried it for a few years a few years ago. Now I'm back at the "I'm done with Garrett and Jerry phase" and want some actual change because I'm tired of seeing these two jokers sabotage the legacy of this wonderful franchise.

I think many fans are of this ilk. They ultimately finance this mess. I've said several times that if you actually back this team financially you are a loser and deserve the results of the past 24 years.

How can 6 teams pick in the top 5?

Oops, ok, we beat the Gnats and Commanders twice.

And we got the Dolphins at the right time. Not sure we would beat 'down-the-stretch' Miami with Fitzmagic.

I wouldn't bet on it. You have to give that QB credit. The dude can play. If he was a bit less reckless with the ball he'd be a legit tier 2 QB..

I would point out here that the Cowboys victories over them is one reason they're drafting so high

(but I'm afraid someone will throw a shoe at me)

Let that sink in guys.………..the only two teams we beat that are not picking in the top 5 are Philly & Rams.

The theme this year was simple, unless Dallas was playing an absolute doormat, they lost.

That is how the Jason Garrett era ended.

We sure did our Job beating up on crappy teams, if we could have only won 20% percent of our games against better teams...we would have made the playoffs (thats 2 out of 8 instead of 1 out of 8), we'd be in the playoffs

Pretty sure some of us pointed out how horrible these teams were after week 3 and no one wanted to hear it. It was all about how great Moore was, even Garrett avoided criticism and we were on our way to the Super Bowl. Typical over reaction. This isn’t new to anybody whose been paying attention to this dumpster fire of a team.

Yep, starting the year 3-0 had fans on here claiming we were headed toward the SuperBowl.

Problem was that 3-0 start was against the Giants, Commanders, and Dolphins.

It was fool's gold, made the team seem a lot better than they really were.

"I like my head buried in the sand. I've had my head buried in the sand my entire time owning the Cowboys. In that I always like to see the positive in any situation."

That was a direct quote of his in the pre-game today. That's our GM.
