I would like to see if the next coach will challenge Jerry. Garrett to some extent did, but he failed in so many other ways....jerry only compromised a little, specially on draft process. the only coach jerry conceded to was Parcells, and that lasted 2 years before jerry felt he now knows what to do..... that's why I think Riley is their choice, as he can concede the offense to riley, but insert himself in coaching staff and the defensive side so he remains involved. plus he is smitten with Riley.

yes, the in game management never really improved. continued to make the same mistakes over and over.

I have supported the guy, but certainly some important things are Garrett's fault. Mostly regarding stubbornness.

But Jerry is where the major problem lies.

That bothers me more than the vanilla offense he installed might have worked if he'd made adjustments at the right time we don't have the time or we don't need to go over the many many many adjustments he missed or made way too late

Whatever man, Ive seen Garrett's piss poor decisions for the last decade. Not only does he suck at managing games he has no balls and is incredibly slow to react, never proactive. You cant tell me with his coaching career on the line he didn't have authority to call a time out and get his starters on the field for 4th and 8. Its typical Garrett stupidity.

this is all Jerry's fault. he is the GM and he needs to be held responsible for this mess.

I don't think it's Garrett's fault either it's Jerry Jones' fault. Jerry needs to hire a coach that controls the football part of the organization more even if he doesn't like it 100%. I understand that Jerry wants his family to get the players in and stuff but on field in locker room it should be all 100% whoever gets brought in and that includes his coaching staff. The next coach needs to have a say in the defensive coaches and what the offense will run. Garrett was just a puppet the entire time. I'm sure somewhere else he'll thrive as a coach. In some ways I wish we weren't letting go of Garrett because I don't see an upside in hiring another puppet like we probably will. I hope we don't but I think we will and we won't see much of a change and we could only see it get worse if we go the way I'm thinking we'll go with Jerry. We will most likely hire within and just keep the same type system going.

Get ready for Kellen Moore or Richard being the next hire or some stupid nonsense like that.

It was the same story with softy Wade Phillips.

And the cycle will continue with what ever “Yes Man” Jerry decides to get next.
