I’ll be happy to see Richard gone as I think he was the reason the defense struggled.
That said, it sickens me that teams are rushing to interview him, Bienimi, etc becaipuse they are clearly getting all the required minority interviews out of the way as fast as possible. The NFL is still a joke when it comes to minority hiring.
How is that possible? 70% of the league is minority.

God, and to think I was counting my lucky stars when the Dolphins didn’t hire him last off-season.

What happens in games is about 100 times as important as what happens in practice. It could be said every DB regressed this year under Richard. How many INT’s did our DB’s get this year?

KR wasn’t the DC.

you should direct your questions to Marinelli.

he was in charge of the D scheme.

Why would Richard play that game if it is just a token meeting? Can’t imagine that.He impresses more than the name guy he gets the job, no?

What happened to Richards fire, shouting, yelling, running with the players, kicking them in the shins, pulling their hair, etc.
Lol, in less than a year Richard went from being the next HC in waiting to “good, lets get rid of him” even though the defense is top 10. LMAO.

A lot of the black players who show great leadership qualities, and ability to work with other players to further their careers don't typically want to be coaches, and that's a shame.

Guys like Jim Brown, Ronnie Lott. That type of player. Guys like Don Shula's son never should have been coaching at any position in the pros.

Well today why would a former star player want to go into coaching for peanuts for pay and 60hr work weeks. Don’t see to many former stars going into it I don’t think, yes there are exceptions such as Witten having the desire evidently.

I agree...but it’s hard to ignore the reality of a flawed rule with good intentions.

Not to mention that teams interview coaches from inter division rivals all the time just to try to pick any inside info they can in the interview process. Interviewing Richard kills 2 birds for the Giants.
It shouldn’t matter if a guy is white, AA, brown or green. If he’s a good coach I want him.

he should have been our DC this season.

he wasn’t.

I’ve warned people about Marinelli.
KR has sucked all season long and so has his secondary. Do they even practice catching balls from our backup QB?
