DLaw is #1 for me.

J. Smith and LVE both underperformed. This time last year we thought we had the best LB group in the league between Smith, LVE, and Lee.

Awuzie is another big one. Again last year made it look like Awuzie and BJ were going to be a really good pair, aside from interceptions.

How can it be anyone but Demarcus Lawrence?

the highest paid Player in cowboys history (by faarrrr) played like a backup who was struggling to keep his roster spot. Robert Quinn was definitively superior at least 13 of the 16 games, and HIS valuation was that of a 6th round pick.

the last full sack Demarcus Lawrence tallied was in the game after Halloween. Think about that for a moment.
Yep Dlaw and Jaylon , X Wood is a cast away, M Collin was never good against the run. We need stud at the DT spot. As far as free agent at the DT spot I wouldn't sign any of them. Jaylon is way overpaid he looks lost

LVE was the biggest disappointment for me, followed by Jaylon. I thought our linebackers would be the strongest part of the team, but they might have been the weakest unit. Teams repeatedly ran up our gut and we couldn’t stop them.

DLaw isn’t worth the huge contract.

Same with Zeke.

Our last 3 drafts were poor which is a big reason we were bad this year, and that doesn’t bode well for the future.

It has to be Maher. He alone cost us a chance at the playoffs. Had we cut him earlier, we'd be in the playoffs.

Maliek Collins, he was horrible vs the run all season. Sold out to get sacks all year never maintaining gap integrity. Can’t wait till he’s gone.

For those of you calling out DLaw did you even watch any of the games?

He got paid - get over it. He was the most consistent lineman on a soft DL that could defend both the run and pass. Quinn played well but how much of that is because of the attention OCs were paying to DLaw..

The worst to me:

Jaylon/LVE (whole LB crew was wretched)
D-LAW
Maher
Awuzie

Wow. All these players failed. Isn't that just about the whole roster? Just post a link to the roster and be done with it.

If all you care about is his sack numbers then you will be disappointed. If you actually watched him play then you would have seen a solid performance especially against the run coming off an injury.
21m$ a year performance?

The Jerry Jones " Everybody have fun, you are my buddies, no discipline needed" concept in full effect.

Jaylon Smith

Physically he looked like he did in 2017. Very choppy in his steps, bad ccx angles etc etc. If the leg issue is tgere, and it appears it is then Jerry messed up.

Even worse is this guys attitude, . More concerned with building his brand off the field, the swipe has become the most hated thing I can remember.
He celebrates after facemasking guys, after tackling guys 15 yards down field and just generally doesn't care about his defensive colleagues at all.....

I could go on but my blood pressure is boiling........

whole team failed. No one gets off the hook.

D. Lawrence was a mediocre player for the entire year....he still hasn't seen the ball in Chicago when they were running the RPO. He is paid to be a dominant player, to include disrupting the opposition passing game through sacks and hurries...he failed.

Behind him, Jaylon Smith regressed horribly, for whatever reason. LVE did the same, and both were mediocre at best.

Behind them, Connor Williams just doesn't look like he has what it takes, and may be a total bust if he continues on this way.

Awuzie and Jones, are overhyped and way underperformers. Jones has been touted as this and that since his stellar Combine results came out, and he just can't live up to all the braggadocio about this skills. He still can't cover a tightend, even though he is supposed to have blazing speed and he looks like he doesn't want to tackle anyone most of the time. Awuzie just doesn't look like an NFL player.

Both kickers.

D - Lawrence, Woods, LVE, the Swipe Clown, Chido, X Woods, Jones

O - Smith, Williams, Shultz

In my opinion Dak, Collins, Martin, Gallup and Lewis are only guys you can say had a good year.
