Dude hasn't won 2 playoff games in the same year in a decade of football and somehow you have him winning a super bowl? Some people just don't get it.

Im just saying that I don’t think Jerry has made the decision to move on from Garrett yet.

Do I think Garrett can win a SB? Yes. Tampa Bay won a SB with Dilfer. Things happen.

Tell me what the other option is first. So far, I do not see the alternative and every hour this drags on increases the chances that he's remaining....in some capacity.

His contract expires on 1/14 and that's over 2 weeks away. If Booger was going to do the right thing, he would announce and give Garrett the opportunity to toss his hat in the ring for these open HC positions. Booger's comment about "having a lot of things to think about" is very telling. He's looking for a way to keep Garrett.

Tampa Bay had what was maybe the best defense in the league.

Garrett is the only ginger coach in the NFL. If we let him go, it will be an obvious case of bigotry, i.e., anti-gingerism. Therefore, he should stay.
That is what i was gonna say. Its his only hope. Status quo. Would rather the clapper take his talents elsewhere. Lets see which franchise wants to spend 10 years in mediocrity.

I don't want JG retained ... but I also know that nothing will change with a new HC. We're a half dozen HC's since Jimmy ... and nothing has changed. As long as Jerry continues to meddle, there's nothing a new HC can do.

Ummmmm Few things here.
- Dilfer won a SB with the Ravens
- Garrett is a coach / Dilfer a player
- Brad Johnson was the qb of the bucs team that had probably a top 15 all time D.
- coincidentally- Dilfer won with the Ravens with a D that was considered top 5 all time.

I put a Ton of this on Rod Marenneelli and K Richard. Their defense was poor and unsound. They never made adjustments in game. I think Garrett could be a good HC with a good surrounding staff. Hiring a rookie OC in Moore was a huge mistake.for Rod M the game has passed him by. Look at all the teams running that def. Atlanta , dal, TB, sea all have pretty bad defenses. It’s outdated.
Yup blame everyone else. Rob Ryan, Kiffin, linnehan, Moore. Who else is at fault? Tight end coach judd garrett? But i though garrett doesnt pick his staff? Who hired his pathetic brother? Interesting.
