Cooper will be resigned. He is why Gallup had so many chances to catch the ball this year. Now I don't see Cobb coming back though.

79 catches for almost 1200 yds and 8 tds, all without so much as a hint of drama. Some problem.
thats not the issue he wants Thomas and Jones money and those dudes have over 16-1700 yards and more tds and show up every game and can beat double teams.. If amari wants 16-17 maybe but not 19-20 thats for ELITE WRs, AC is great not elite..catch 100 plus balls 17 plus tds and 1700plus yards and he can ask to be regarded like those guys..

Hes more of a Watkins type player and thats under 17 in my book..

I think most want him here but not for what he was asking for before the season..

Keep Cobb let Gallup continue to grow. Sign a veteran to fill out the starters and I’d be content.

Amari is terribly inconsistent and seems to lack a passion for the game. Yes, we spent a first rounder on him, but oh well.

If we have decisions on who to pay, it’d make the numbers easier to swallow by letting Cooper walk. To me, he just isn’t worth the $18-20 million he’s gonna want.

I really hate to say it because it's another wasted first round pick on a wideout in Jerry World, but I agree. I think we saw why the Raiders let him go this year. Sure, traded to a new team, it's a wakeup call, but boy did he go back to his Raiders Roots fast this year.

I think Watkins athletic talent sure, but not football talent. Above Watkins, below Jones and Thomas IMO.

I really believe Gallup can be a number one.

Let Cooper walk and be someone else's problem.
So who do you replace him with
A draft pick?
How does that make you better even if you drafted a player just as good

I think Amari was hurt all year with that foot injury he suffered way back in training camp, and then he started getting other injuries probably from overcompensating.

If Gallup is a #1 where was he during the Jets loss??? Also Gallup has the benefit of going against a teams 2nd best corner not their best and getting single coverage. If nothing else Amari opens up a LOT for everybody else. As average as Dak was in 2019 do you all remember how bad Dak and the Offense was before Amari got here?

I don't want to pay Amari $20,000,000 a year either..... BUT if you are going to give Dak $40,000,000 a year only to see him fail without Amari than that is not a good plan. If anything pay Dak only $38,000,000 a year and give Amari $20,000,000 instead of $18,000,000 a year.

What I would do is pay Byron Jones, Pay Cooper and if Dak is late to the table and their is only so much money left.... Oh well.

Dak would lose a financial fortune leaving Dallas. Not just in endorsements BUT state income taxes. Texas is a lot cheaper than CA. CA you can tack on an extra 13% in taxes.

Simple things... Looney starting LG. Jarwin starting TE. Forbath K. Offense run the ball Zeke & Pollard both. Dak throw 20-25 times a game. Use Dak's legs more. Keep the Defense on the sidelines to rest and stay fresh. Acquire 2-3 big bodies in the middle of the Defense. Get a stud ball hawking safety. Get a coach like Jimmy Johnson or Bill Parcells.... a coach players live in fear of...... You do all this we will kick everyone's butt. 18-1 win a SB.

Funny how the Zone changes.

Yall remember pre Amari Dak?

Also people never think about the knock on effects of losing Amari.

A) You have to spend draft capital or the dollars in free agency to replace Amari (you maybe have to do both).

B) Suddenly Gallup gets the number 1 corner and not the number 2. We all sure Gallup is that guy? He disappeared often this year against lesser attention.

C) Amari played injured never complained and had huge games for us despite that. This the guy you want to just let walk?

You fans who accuse Jerry at being bad at his job are more emotional and would be disastrous.

All of this may be true, but that begs the question...………..

If Cooper is soo good and soo valuable, why was he riding pine with the season on the line in Philly?

Guys. If a WR catches a thousand yards worth of passes, it is not JUST because of the other guy on the field. C'mon, y'all cannot be this naive.

I think the guy was hurt most of the second half of the season. What would you think if they did not waste the money on Zeke and Smith?

Personally I would choose Cooper over those 2.
Exactly, and I dont think Amari tried all that hard , since jones boys would not give him a contract, he was playing out his rookie deal.
You get what you pay for, and jones boys did not want to pay for Amari or Dak.
Jaylon extension was beyond stupid, and elliot was overpaid and underused.

Parker from the Dolphins was just extended for about $10M per year. To me, he and Cooper are similar players. Give me 2 Parkers over one Amari.
At that price, every day of the week! I had Parker on my fantasy team so I watched a lot of his games - the kid is super talented

To sign someone to another contract is to "re-sign" that person.

If a person quits a job, he "resigns".
Yeah, I’m aware lol. Phone autocorrected to resign and couldn’t edit the title. Thanks though

Jerry is the one who wanted him to begin with, and clearly doesn't like admitting he was wrong about anything. That tells me Coop will be re-signed or tagged.
