Watching Jalon Smith on the sidelines and in post-game interviews, you'd think we were playoff bound. And Jalon is not alone. I saw many players who are comfortable with losing. I respect players who hate to lose but I guess the Jones culture is a way of life now where competing is the new winning. What a bunch of gutless losers the Jones culture has produced.

I remember watching Staubach, Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin, etc who hated to lose and willed their team to victory. Well I guess fond memories from the good old days are all we fans have left unless you buy Jerry's fools gold he sells every September.
It is amazing how, for me, he went from one of my favorite players last year to my least favorite player (without question) this year and it's not even close. We do not need his play or his attitude around here.

Some players want it more. Romo, Witten, Dez, and Lee all come to mind. Ill never forget Romo hugging his family members and crying like a child after the Packers playoff loss. I saw the "tantrums" from Dez and I believe Witten came back for one reason alone. While I agree fans exaggerate what these games mean to many of the players, there are still warriors out there that simply hate to lose. The more guys like that you can put on a team the harder they will push.

He also had the if this is the worst thing fiasco as swell.

this type of thread is why we get the canned responses because they’d rather not deal with it.

for me it’s entertainment. And at this point in butt life a win or lose does little to sway mood or interaction with others and I am beyond happy for every single one of these guy for achieving the ultimate goal in their chosen profession.

how many of us desk jockeys can say that?

lastly this whole post isn’t aimed at the person I quoted just kinda turn into a stream of thought

It's amazing to me how many players I have scorned this year. Usually I support every person wearing the star, even after a bad play, bad game or bad year. But...when I see the money they are taking, their attitude at losing, blaming fans, posting twitter after a loss...

It boggles my mind and a slap in the face to our heritage. This feeling is not something I am used to...nor want....but...there it is.

I liked your post but unable to decipher the JoeKing code.
:)

I immediately identified with your nonchalant attitude at internet spell checkers...they must keep VERY busy correcting all the internet. And I couldn't care any less how bad I spell Billacheck.

I'm gonna use the "thank you" thing..instead of my typical smarmy reply.

Wrong. Heath is the most hated and it ain't even close
Anybody on this thread *****ing about Jaylon should LOVE Jeff Heath. He’s not overpaid and he’s out there doing everything he can to help win with 2 injured shoulders.

Jaylon is overly positive. Your plane could be crashing and Jaylon would be saying '6% of passengers survive these crashes - that could be us!'

Michael Irvin brought it down for anyone that would listen last week. We don't have a talent problem. We've gt a heart problem. None of these players have any. There isn't anything here that even resembles a team. Just a bunch of individuals and their "brands" wearing the same laundry.

Jaylon Smith reminds me of Cerrano from Major League 2. We need someone like Tanaka on the team.
