Doesn’t anyone have some inside information ensuring us Garrett is definitely out as HC!

Here is what we have been told:
Garret told the coaches not under contract they are free to seek employment elsewhere.
Garrett said his goodbyes at the Frisco facility.

I think Jerry and Garrett are negotiating a golden parachute to keep Garret out of the Division.

Like usual Jerry acting like Garrett is better than he is. The guy had been coaching in some capacity in Dallas for over a decade, we know what he brings to the table.

I suspect they may be offering Garrett an executive position, perhaps even GM to keep him in the organization. Jerry will be 78 years old for cripes sake. The only colorful thing about Jerry now are his varicose veins.

Maybe there are no leaks because there ain't anything to leak......Which means........See you next season Jason :(:(:(
If there is nothing to leak that means JG doesn't have a contract so see a ew coach next season

Taking this post seriously, I will try to alleviate your fears. No, nobody has the hard evidence you are asking for. They are keeping everything within a tight circle of very few people. However, there are things we know or have been reported. We know Jerry made Garrett coach out his final year without an extension and it has been reported and not refuted that Garrett needed a deep playoff run to remain the head coach. Obviously, he failed. We know Jerry runs the team as a family and Garrett is treated as such. That alone explains why Jerry didn’t can him immediately. We know assistants were told they could start looking for work. It was reported Garrett has been saying goodbye and exchanging contact information. We have no idea if they are discussing a front office position or if Garrett is making a case to remain the coach and Jerry is listening. What I can say for sure is that this is not the way you treat a head coach you have decided to extend. You don’t leave him twisting in the wind. If they were actually discussing a new contract, they would announce that. What this situation does fit is how you would go about getting rid of someone you don’t want to fire but you know it’s time to move on. You let them continue working until their contract expires. You possibly ask them to take a different role and if they turn it down, that’s on them. You did everything you could ease the stress of the situation. That is where I see this. There are many more quality coaches available right now than there are openings. They have their eye on 2-3 guys they know will still be available to them in the coming weeks. They may even have the bulk of an agreement in place so there is no hurry. They are simply easing Garrett out or into a new position instead of throwing him out of the building before his contract is up. Have patience. All signs and everything that has been reported points to Garrett not getting an extension to remain the head coach.

I'm starting to lean towards Garrett staying. Why else would he be okay with prolonging his own free agency?

Meet your new coach. Same as the old coach.

No one will know anything because this is a Jones Family discussion and decision. So unless they give information out there will be no accurate information.

anyone claiming they were told or heard this guy is the next guy or whatever is just making it up.

You should not ask questions whose answers you will not like.
Yep

There’s been several reports come out but fans simply are ignoring the speculative conclusions from them because it’s not the finality they want.

This is what’s best for Jerry not Jason or the Cowboys.

i have been wondering why he would not want to be out interviewing right away and especially with the giants job available. He either knows he has no shot at a HC job or he has an Assistant job lined up somewhere after all the playoffs are over.
