Belichick and Jerry Jones would mesh about as well as a can of raid and a cockroach.

Aka, a match made in Hell.

Hell a regular house roach will just swam right thru a puddle of raid and keep it pushin before the ol reliable shoe comes out.

I have zero idea how they are still in business.

But yeah, Jerry

Bellichick will not be better than Garrett here in terms of results. This division is stacked unlike AFCE. With Jerry's meddling, Bellichik would also look conservative and like Garrett.

Thinking Belechik is coming is like a fever dream. Jerry would never let anyone be bigger than he in this organization , it’s why Jimmy was run out of town and Tuna’s stay was brief . Jerry’s ego couldn’t handle Belechik in the same organization on a daily basis.

Having not made a call yet on Garrett the clapper tells me the coach/guy he wants is still coaching and the rumors on a few other message boards is that JJ is heavily invested in Bill Bellichick but as we all know his Pats are playing in the WC games this weekend.

Whether or not it happens is anyones guess but i would be surprised if JJ goes the untried route/or collegiate level coach with the current roster we have. Jones and Bellichick go back a fair way and by no means are strangers at all and when BB was leaving the Browns in 1995 he approached JJ for a job as his first port of call but JJ had already committed to Switzer after his SB triumph from memory and then BB went to the Pats and the rest is history.

Now this is by no means fact that he is chasing BB but stranger things have happened before and nearly everyone knows the Pats are not winning another SB anytime soon with old man Brady getting older every day.

Lots to play out here regarding our next coach IMO and watch this space. ;)
At some point people are going to have to accept that Jerry and Jason continuing to talk has nothing to do with getting a new coach, or having one in his pocket, but about Jason continuing with the Cowboys as coach or some other role.

But let’s say he fires Jason today, we aren’t hiring Belichick. Never mind the obvious reasons why, is there an approach more opposite to Jerry’s than Belichick’s? All the high risk reward players would have to be jettisoned. Wouldn’t have signed Zeke. Even if Jerry was willing to give up on his own redemption and give up control it would take years to get the roster in a position to be anywhere near how the Patriots are set up structurally. Why would Belichick do that?

I would say the AFCE is better than the NFCE. NE/Buffalo both made the playoffs. Jets finished 7-9. Wash/NYG are awful. We know Dallas isn't doing anything while JJ still has air in his lungs.

yes
And also 30 other teams lol.

I think crazier things than BB to Dallas have happened. Bellichick has always spoken fondly of the Cowboys and Jones, and with his reverance for Bill Parcells - who had no problem working with Jerry - I don't think that relationship would be much of a problem.

In other breaking news, JJ was seen praying to the real Jesus asking if he would be interested in coaching the DC. You know since we had a hole in old stadium so Jesus could watch.

This is the only year in recent memory.

Is Booger ready to go back to the Parcells days of taking a back seat? If Belichick were to move to another team, it would be for total control of the coaching staff and players and I don't see that happening, especially with this owner.

Bellichick will move to Giants before thinking of Cowboys. Since Giants also have a coaching vacancy and Bill has been part of that organization for a long time.

Jerry said literally days ago that he'd never give up the GM job.

Guess who the effective GM in NE is?
