It might be locally driven, but I don't see any Brady ads. Dak is non-stop commercials.
You don't see Brady doing TV ads because he doesn't want to do TV ads.
Period
Has almost certainly turned down a thousand offers over his time.

Dak accepts every offer presented, ,it seems.
Not dissing him, as he was operating on a 4th round rookie deal.

Romo got paid soon after he became a starter.
He too had a crazy number of offers but turned them all down for years. Made plenty of $$ already and didnt want the hassle. Finally signed on to a couple at the end of his career.

Give him the non franchise tag and see if someone if willing to pay him 40 million... hell see if someone is willing to pay him over the 26 million tag. I doubt it.

He can only test the free market if dallas let him walk. If they franchise him, his only option is to not sign it and try to force the team to give him a long term deal. Something that is not very appealing for a qb. Signing the franchise deal worked out well for cousins. He made a ton of money.

True but his agent can, “Behind closed doors, in the dark, in the shadows, under the table, etc.”

Last resort Dak can hold out. I doubt he will but u never know...

Why don't you hire a QB coach to teach you throwing fundamentals and then you can try out for the Cowboys next year.

Some of our fans don’t know that:
1) Dak hired a private QB coach.
2) Has improved.
3) Played thru 2 injuries.

1) Why wouldn't he use a Cowboys coach?
2) At the beginning of the year, on fire. Even talk of MVP up to November. After that? um not so much>
3) Sure....but at what cost? As little as we've seen of Rush....no one can be absolutely certain he would not have gotten us 1 or 2 of those crucial games.

If you or I were Dak:

I’d consider taking a team friendly deal say three years at $25-Mill per fully guaranteed with stipulations that I had input on new coaches, scheme, and maybe adding a few quality free agents..

Or I’d test the market, refuse the tag, and demand Top Market Rate Dollars...

Truth is playing QB for Dallas is a dream job and I’d take even less than that.. I just thought maybe we can all give our own hypothetical scenarios if we were Dak. New fresh thread idea...

What would you ask for or do?
why take less than what market can offer? if he wants to have input into coaching hire, then all players would want that and its the fastest way to tear apart the locker room based on preferential treatment.....

he can't avoid the Tag. in fact dallas can tag him two years in a row. he can refuse to sign and thus he can stay home....its in the collective bargaining agreement....

I would keep my mouth shut. go out and work on my craft and do what the coach asks me to do.....

He’s used both coaches. Some believe Kitna got him over the last hump. He needs more work. He needs another coach to help him learn film better.

Everything is negotiable. He can sit out. I doubt he would but it’s always an option.

I would honestly move on from this dysfunctional organization, that is if winning a ring is important to him cause it will never happen here. Dak would flourish in a system with a real hc, a real gm, and real accountibility.
What team that is already a Super Bowl contender is in need of a QB?

The reality is of the situations where a team needs a QB, few, if any, have the talent that Dallas has. Dallas really doesn't have a Cleveland Browns type history the way some portray it.

If Dak wants to win championships, he needs to leave Dallas.
If Dak wants to set himself up for notoriety after football...sign a deal in Dallas.

If I were Dak I wouldn't have quit on the team with 5 games left to play.
If I were Dak I would realize that Jerry DID see how badly the quarterback play was this year, last year, and the year before.
If I were Dak I would realize that there is a reason the Cowboys cooled in contract negotiations, and that was because of his poor play.
If I were Dak I would get my head out of the clouds and get to work on improving my game- specifically trying to prepare so that in pressure situations I wouldn't choke and throw interceptions, terrible passes, or throw the ball into the ground on 4th down with the game hanging in the balance.
If I were Dak, I'd be happy with $15 million per year for a couple of years after the way he chokes.

You nailed it. Couldn't have said it better myself.
