Oh well. They make more money than any of us here. So I am sorry I dont feel bad. If i was bad at my job for 10 years I wouldn't be in line for a promotion. Id be out on my *** with no concern for my family. And i haven't made 6 million a year. So yeah. Does it suck. Of course. I actually like Gary Brown, but at the end of the day results based business.

Was going to post similar response. People here keep accusing Jerry of being too loyal to his staff. When someone is not doing there job to the standard required, they should expect to be released and not brought back. I think we can upgrade on RB coaching, just like OL and DL coaching, and other areas

I know listening to the guy makes one feels bad, but (1) they made good money, and (2) how about us (fans)?

Dont know how you got that out of the video. I didn't get that at all. Looked to me like a bunch of guys playing football and a coach smacking their ***** when they did well. Didn't give me any sense of the players feelings towards the coaches at all. What did you see/hear specifically that gave you that impression?
Pay attention to Dak, Zeke and several others how they react to their position coaches. Dak was all emotionally appreciative of Garrett. Zeke was all verbally appreciative of Brown. Etc. You can tell they don't want to lose these coaches. Jerry needs to pay attention to his players.

There is a lot of video out there of Coach Brown and his RB's. They are a close knit group. I think he is a really good coach.

Did you play sports? Cause just about everyone gets like this in-game even with coaches they can't stand. You're reading WAY too much into it. I don't see that at all.

Did any of ya'll catch Bennett celebrating with Macolm Smith afterhe forced a fumble? Seems like he was taking a subtle shot at players like Jaylon who overly-celebrate. Bennett could be heard yelling "thats normal for you, thats normal for you, all your life you been doing that." right in front of Jaylon.

Gary Brown audio isn’t a little bit awkward. Silence...,then “appreciate it.” Oof.

Dak Prescott:

ON IF HE WOULD LIKE TO SEE COACH GARRETT BACK NEXT SEASON
“That’s somebody that I respect, look up to in every which way. He’s a great person, great coach, great man so of course. That’s my answer but obviously I don’t make the decisions. If I did, I wouldn’t be in the position I’m in. Thank you.”

The only reason why he wants Jason Garrett back is so he can goof around at practice and during the games. A new coach will likely be harsher than Garrett.

I like to compare this situation to a substitute teacher in a high school. Students of course would prefer the substitute because they can do whatever they want and rule the classroom. Same situation as Garrett as coach. The players (aka, the students) can say, and do whatever they want without punishment. A real teacher (aka, a real coach) would not allow this. That’s why Dak and the other players want to keep Garrett. Also, they are professional and of course would not call out Jason Garrett in an interview.

So the players are professionals and would not call out the coaches, but the players want Garrett to remain so they can goof around in practice? o_O:huh:

I hate being this guy, but who cares. This game is an embarrassing reminder of a currently embarrassing franchise.
