Then Ed Werder reports at 10:21pm that the Jones have decided that Jason Garrett will not be part of the organization moving forward

So which one is it?

It was the lead off story on SportsCenter tonight...…………….Werder dam sure have better sourced this with either Jerry or Steven first.

If Werder is wrong and makes ESPN look like fools, he probably will not be employed there anymore. ESPN is going "all in" on this report.

I would not believe anything until it’s officially announced by the FO.

I will only believe he is gone only after we hear official word. No matter if he is gone or they keep him the way this is has been handled is absolutely crazy.

My guess is that Jerry wanted Garrett to take a front office job and these meetings were to try to convince him to take it. Garrett apparently still wants to coach and taking a 9-5 desk job didnt sound very appealing to him. So at the end of the day, both parties decided to just go their separate ways.

That's my take on what happened this week and why they just didnt fire Garrett on Monday. They wanted to move him upstairs, but Garrett wasn't buying it. They probably told Garrett to take a couple of days to think about but the answer was still the same, no thanks.

Every body is pretty much citing Werder's tweet.

Man, if Werder is wrong on this his career at ESPN is over. This is not the type of story you go public with unless you are dam sure its legit.

Thing is, if they have made this decision, why haven't they announced it?

Even if they're just not going to renew his contract, I would think Jerry would love to get some cameras on him and announce that they have made the decision.

Who really knows with dysfunctional Jerry.............some report there was a meeting yesterday, some say there wasn't one......some report they were in Vail, Colorado...........it's hard to read between the lies.
