He’s not and everyone knows it besides Favre I guess.

The guy had 2 of the best QBs that ever played and only got 1 championship out of it.

His QB goes down and the team is trash.

Insert a new coach and Packers are good again.

McCarthy was a problem in GB and he will be a problem here and the only reason he will get a job because the NFL loves to hire guys on the buddy system and that goes extra for the Cowboys who will take less of a coach for someone they can bully.

McCarthy reminds me a little of Indy post-Dungy. The teams were bad aside from an all-time QB. Peyton and Luck, Favre and Rodgers. MM got fired because when Rodgers started getting hurt, he couldn’t coach his way out of a paper bag.

Most of the coaches in this league wouldnt do well if they lost their star qb. If Farve and Aikman two Hof qbs say hes a good coach thats good enough for me.

No. He ran a 4-3 in Cincy and ran a Hybrid in Baltimore

I would much rather take a risk on Lincoln Riley then go with a total status quo move with no upside in McCarthy.

Favre will not be a good advocate for an X and Os guy as he definitely was not. He even admitted it in interviews that he would sometimes make plays up.
