Mike McCarthy is an outstanding football coach and would be a great addition to this staff. I am hoping that Jerry Jones will be able to keep both of these men (McCarthy & Lewis) on this staff together it would be massive. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.
We need an entire staff of competent highly skilled and experienced NFL coaches...invaluable.

Drew Brees is a HOF qb and they only have one SB. Exact same thing could be said for the saints. Brees is every bit as good a Rogers ever was and is better now.
Exactly. The Dolphins never wine one with Marino. Peyton only won his second because the Denver defense carried the team that year. I think fans forget that Super Bowls are elusive regardless of the quality of the coach and QB. Well, except Belichick and Brady

I'm not really all in on this but it's better than Zimmer.

Not really into it either... But, who really knows how much was Rodgers and how much was McCarthy?

Hard to know without being a part of it all. But, I want an emotional coach that gets friggin fired up on the sidelines.
One that holds them accountable for crap play, and calls them out on it in front of everyone.

I wish I could take part of my signature out. That would be at least progress.

How uncomfortable must it have been with Jerry showing Marvin and Mike what could be their office if they are the HC. When they get there, there's Jason Garrett sitting at his desk eating a PBJ sandwich with marshmallow fluff?

Nah, It was an italian sub. And seeing those two nearly made him throw it up.

Meanwhile Garrett's setting welcome place mats for all in the conference room w/ schneckens and strudels for the brunch meet and greet.

Lewis' career HC record shows him to be basically a .500 coach regardless of the talent the Bengals did or didn't have.

Yes overall, but he had some very good teams in there too. Garrett is above .500 but we seen his track record swell. Lewis was more consistent winning in consecutive seasons, just not n the playoffs. But like I said, no thanks to Lewis.
