Every NFL owner "knows money". They are all so insanely rich most people can't fathom it.

The fact that Jones shook out some loose change from under his sofa cushions for a crappy pizza franchise hardly indicates he is "in touch".
Oh please!!!! You've been kissing his teams butt for 30 years!!!!!!! Get the flip outta here! Jerry knows more football than you ever will.

So he only made money for 15 years?
Yeah possibly Tuff Luck huh? I'm sure Parcells needed that 15 years of extra money? They just opened three new Papa John's within 30 mile radius of me? Papa John did not help the franchise that's for sure with his off-the-wall comments

Right now, if he hasn't dumped it, it is an albatross.

Still has nothing to do with anything. He can close the doors today and he is still ahead every penny of profit he has ever seen from it thanks to Jerry. I just don’t see the need to find negativity in what was at the time a very thoughtfully and generous gesture that was totally unnecessary on Jerry’s part. Plus, it’s very likely that he sold it at some point for a hefty sum

Maybe not, but they keep opening stores. I've actually never tried it.

I had never heard this before.

Yesterday Rex Ryan was discussing why a coach would not work for Jerrah.

He said that is a lie and anybody with a lick of sense would go there and try to make it work.

He related that when Parcells decided he was leaving..

Jerrah gifted him a Papa John's Pizza franchise as a thank you.

Worth $100,000's of $1000s annually.

Are you kidding nobody wants to work for the Cowboys?

Show of hands please?

The rest of you can sit down and go hungry.

I do not want to hear anymore about Jerrah not being in touch.

He knows money.

A pizza franchise in exchange for Jerryworld. Sounds like the Tuna got a raw deal.

See, I’m in agreement with you. I don’t know about the Papa Johns deal or not but the man is one heck of a businessman and isn’t that what’s this is all about? I’m gonna be a fan even if Mickey Mouse is the coach. JJ always makes life interesting for sure

Gotta love how the dashing gentlemen come rushing to defend the fair maiden in distress.

So how is Jones being financially generous to an outgoing coach he owed billions to for helping him get his stadium built going to matter in any way to the status of this franchise going forward?

Talk about something that has nothing to do with anything.
