Rogers is a jerk. The entire Green Bay nation knows that. When you say that McCarthy has the lowest football IQ ever - it just seem personal rather than truth.

What gets me worked up about Rogers is when he said " I had to bail him out all of the time."

Goes to show that Rogers doesn't get a pass here.
It’s not an either/or.

Rodgers can be a jerk AND McCarthy can be a buffoon.

The article’s long and trashes both of them.

Aaron Rodgers is a difficult personality to deal with. Maybe he was smarter than McCarthy, but seems he deliberately went against him.

I'm not a McCarthy fan for Dallas, but Green Bay's downfall wasn't squarely on mccarthy.

There's always a first, guess the first college coach to ever win a Superbowl?

Here is some better info

Barry Switzer is one of only three coaches to win a college national championship and a Super Bowl, the others being Johnson and Pete Carroll.

No Rogers is a jerk. Not can be. He is.

McCarthy also was a buffoon who got lazy and took success for granted. He never wanted to innovate and make changes.

But come on. This is more on Rogers. Who needs someone else to blame but himself. So he took it out on McCarthy by saying what he said.

Everything you need to know about why the Packers were so awful in his final 2 years, and why his relationship with Aaron Rodgers soured.

I don’t want this clown anywhere near Dallas.

Great article.

instead being blind puppets looking only at Mccarthy's record, pay attention to how and why he got those wins. He had Rodgers and Favre. His offense was predictable and boring just like Garrett's.

Has any former playet disputed what Aaron said about his football iq? Sounds like another garrett to me. A guy given a job he didnt deserve with questionable IQ

I see the week of (near) solidarity of wanting Garrett out is already gone. Some of yall need to chill and enjoy this awhile longer. We all have different preferences.

McCarthy isnt my first choice, but I dont think they are done interviewing, and I have a lot more confidence in him over Garrett. Give this time to shake out and give the new guy (whoever it is) a chance beyond the decision when it comes. Remember, its a process... ;)

Not a credible source. It’s a fan run website. I don’t care what anyone says. Any coach that’s fired usually doesn’t leave on great terms.

But, but, but...they used an anonymous source. That means it had to be true. /endsarcasm

There is an article on The Athletic that McCarthy and Haslett reviewed every game he coached in GB to evaluate what he should have done differently. It does mean he has changed his spots but its a good sign.

A central point of his interviews is convincing GMs/owners he's changed. That tells me a lot about the man and his character. I'd have no problem with Mike as the next coach as long as he brings a STRONG DC.

Agree. I get the feeling Dallas interviewing him is more about picking his brain for information they can use against his next team (especially if its the Giants) but I do feel like Kellen Moore will be OC next year and strong veteran guy like Marvin Lewis the DC.

Who cares about Rodgers? Is Rodgers interviewing to be the Cowboys Head Coach?

Re-read your 2nd paragraph a few times. The one about the fat idiot your favorite football team might hire.

After reading that article, I hope the Cowboys want nothing to do with McCarthy.

It should terrify all of us that a Super Bowl-winning coach who’s out of work after 2 horrific seasons...

Felt the need to completely change his approach in order to convince someone to hire him.

Say what you will about Rodgers, but he’s a smart guy. When he says that McCarthy’s football IQ is the lowest of any coach he’s ever played for, that should sound the alarms.
I agree 100%. After reading from several sources about what went on in GB, I see that McCarthy is the last coach that this team needs if we really want a change. Garrett actually has a lot of qualities that McCarthy needs to have.
