Why not just make Kellen the new head coach?

Moore is still in the developmental stages I believe down the line he will be a HC. If McCarthy comes to Dallas he will be retained, he is very young and showed promise. If a defensive minded HC or a coach from the college ranks is hired Moore won't remain in Dallas.

I can see it being the opposite of this. A strong willed offensive coach is probably going to want to call his own plays. A defensive minded head coach, however, could see the potential and let him manage the offense, but maintain ultimate control as most head coz he's do.

Because the experiment of promoting someone you like over someone that has the pedigree and resume to be the HC of the most popular sports team this side of the galaxy should be over. That experiment failed. The Jones boys I believe got the idea now . I will at least give them that.

Kellen may be decent/good but his resume as a coach is green as can be.

Who the hell would want that? He has been an OC for one year and was mediocre at BEST for that position.

Eventually...it's gonna happen. Somewhere...if not here. A young up and coming protege.. Is he ready?......I'll concede... he's probably not....but here is something to think about....He's already got more experience than Lincoln Riley.

Jerry wants that Sean Peyton type coach that calls his own plays......What we are really missing is a really good defensive coordinator.

Flame suite on. Fire away....Thoughts?
Because he is bad offensive coordinator

JJ knows he doesn't have forever to win a Super Bowl. This time he's going to choose a coach with many years of experience. Don't believe he will hire a college coach.

I hope he doesn't try to lure Sean Peyton here. Payton has had one of the best QB's and has only got to the SB once and that year the Saints were a number 1 seed playing all their homes games at home in a dome. Besides the 2009 SB winning year, he could not get that team to the SB again.

Might as well throw in elephants, trapeze artists, and jugglers and turn it into a full blown circus if you make Kellen Moore the HC. Turn the stadium into a blown up circus tent and make the players wear clown costumes as football uniforms.

Name them....And I mean all of them. I bet you can't name 25...
Lets start with Bryan Hansard of Boise State.
I would type the other 199 names but I am eating Chinese food and drinking Sweet Tea and you are not that important to me.

Moore probably won't be a play-caller under McCarthy but he will probably be delegated OC duties with a new playbook. A new HC in Dallas will focus in commanding the entire team, he can't fall into the Wade Phillips/ Chan Gailey tramp.

And yet he managed to get our offense to a #1 ranking....

I look @ it this way....Is he here before his time? Yeah...probably....but Sean McVay isn't that much older....So it can be done.

The bad thing is....whoever Jerry hires...there is going to be a learning curve. They just aren't gonna walk through the door and the Cowboys are winning a Super Bowl.

If he’s in danger of falling in, that must be one overly used and worn tramp. Of course, she would be if she goes back to the Chan Gailey era.

You wouldn't want Bryan Harsin here....trust me on that one.
