Not my first choice but if you look at the list of coaches with experience in the NFL he is probably the best of that group.

I have a strong feeling that this is what the Cowboys are hoping to put together. A McCarthy-Lewis combination.

- now please let me hear Marvin Lewis is announced as our DC, (along with Marinelli not being brought back) ...and pleeeeeease don't let the DC be freakin' JEFF FISHER ! :angry:

I am actually really excited about this. Dak is perfect for the WC offense. The guy has been studying analytics for a year. He has a whole team of guys for it. He develops QBs and instantly commands respect. I want to see who our staff turns out to be and go from there. But i am very excited about this. And the best thing. He knows clock management.

well, he came to the chiefs with paul hackett who schottenheimer hired to change up his system and also ended up being the reason Joe Montana went there.

McCarthy has been on staffs that have coached Montana, Favre and Rodgers. So hopefully all that time helps the qb here.
