This was a bad hire. This guy had the best QB in the NFL and didn't really do much with him. Yea he won a super bowl and of course thats great but somehow that feels like a major underachievement considering the Qb.

Then you don’t understand what the problem with our team really is. listen to guys like Troy Aikman or Jimmy Johnson and you will see and realize this hire doesn’t fix the thing that was broken. It just gives fans someone else to blame.

I like that he's more old school yet saw how important just understanding data is in the NFL, it helps to create and take advantage of matchups.

I need to see who the DC is before I make a final judgment.

I'm well aware and even put it in the previous post you are responding to in aikmans quote.

Players going to jerry and over the head coach has been at the core of the problems here for years. Jerry over ruling scouts on draft day, spending money on players who are not worth it etc....

10-8 in the playoffs and fans are upset? You haven’t been watching for 13 years of utter crap?? I thought it would be someone else, but this is a good hire. A real coach. 1 player doesn’t go 10-8 in January. Sad that people still think that. Then Rodgers should be winning championships without him.

There seems to be an almost 50/50 split on this hire. However, I am fairly certain that the feeling on Jason Garrett was 100% that he needed to be fired.

Therefore, it's an improvement over Garrett so let's see what happens next in terms of assistant coaches and roster moves.
