I really hope Moore stays. He can learn a lot from McCarthy over the years. Yes Moore made some mistakes this year but I saw a better offense from him than I did Garrett in over 9 years.
There are also elements of what he was doing that McCarthy liked - and he said as much.

He'd still have a voice in Dalllas, even if he's not calling plays.

If he’s being offered the Washington OC job I think he takes that. Jimmy Lake is a defensive guy so Moore will have full reign of the offense there.

I agree, I'd very much like him to stay and continue to help build this offense. I think we'd be better off with both McCarthy and Moore working together than not.

As long as McCarthy installs the offense and calls plays, I’m good either way. The home run would be him staying and McCarthy seeing real value for the team in the decision. If not tho let him go to UW which could also do him a world of good.

I said in other threads, Moore could learn from the right HC to become better. He needs to take this opportunity instead of going back to a college program. Home or not, he is young and can have so many other opportunities open up in the future by staying and learning.

When Kellen realizes he will have to recruit high school players real hard starting with high school sophomores and juniors, learning how to social media with them, flying in and out of airports all over the country and driving rent cars down all kinds of roads to sit in a recruits living room trying to convince him to go to Washington, and then trying to hold off the Oregons, USCs, et al from flipping his recruit of 3 years, and then dealing with the public relations with the big money cigars.... he might realize staying in the pros is an easier gig.
