I'm not a fan of Garrett.

The only thing I feel is that the Giants will allow Jason to do his own thing (coach) unlike his past experience in Dallas.

Could that backfire on Jerry? Yes....

Garrett was told his services were no longer needed in Dallas. Technically he's still under contract with Dallas until the 14th.

McCarthy probably signed a contract that won't be active until January 14th.

I know people think this would be a good thing, but Garrett knows our players very well. That means he knows their tendencies. Even with a new coaching staff in Dallas, he would still have an advantage while playing against us. I'd prefer for him to go away from our division. Also, I'm just tired of looking at his ugly mug.

Obviously I can't root for that, but also totally honestly--if it happens--I would laugh really hard at what a joke that would make us look like.

I think you could make a pretty ironclad argument that Garrett has been a better HC results wise, than McDaniel....

McDaniel seems to be unable to cope with life absent the ability to nurse at Belichick's teat....

He really didn't use our players well here anyway, he probably wouldn't recognize how they play for a real head coach.
