Well I’m glad that McCarthy is getting the chance to assemble his own staff and not have Jerry dictate who he should work with. That being said I will hold off judgement to see how things look next year and make sure teams are no longer laughing about how predictable the Dallas offense or defense is. Sick and tired of that crap.

So what would be a better sound to hear? Jim Tomsula ripping one or old man Marinelli's metal hip creaking?

Tommy P was the one Mac sat down with in his barn for that PR segment on the NFL Network.

Tommy was part of the suck-up Green Bay press back in the day and props up Mac in order to protect his sources.

All part of the insider game.
No he wasn't..I live in the DMV and sadlly have to listen to Commander Radio...They loved him and he was one of the few really good coaches they had...you're way off base..

Here is my big question: what will these players do without their Marinelli nicknames valid any longer?
If they don't get rid of that one particular male stripper nickname which I am not going to repeat...
Does any of this matter?

LOL no not a stalker, just a long-time observer.

I am neither pro nor anti the hiring of Mike McCarthy and I have previously stated the Cowboys could win a Super Bowl with him at head coach (not something I'd say regarding Jason Garrett) ... but you better have a lot of talent on your team for that to happen.

PS I think there is enough talent on the Cowboys' O but not enough on D for that to happen anytime soon ... in part because Mike never seems to pay sufficient attention to the D (or STs).
Whatever. You have a particularly hard slant in one direction on the guy.

What are you referring to here?

My response was to a query about who Tom Pelissero was not Tomasula.

I live in the area and I'm fairly certain the local press weren't at all impressed with him. It's one f those things where they *could* be wrong, just like anyone saying he was good *could* be wrong, but I'm not optimistic in regards to this hire.
How do you know what impact the DL coach had in Washington?

I lived in the nova area as well and the d line is about the only thing they are proud of over there. Haven’t heard any negatives about that groups performance let alone the D-line coach who seldom gets praise or criticism as position coaches rarely ever do.

I pointed this out Monday. Thomsula and greg manusky have both worked with Nolan. This is a mike Nolan hire not a mike McCarthy hire.
