I know McCarthy is close with him any word on him coming over to be a LB coach?
He’s in his McCarthy Project group along with Scott McCurley who was a Defensive QC guy and helped with LBers. Will be interesting to see if he thinks they’re good enough to bring on. The other member, Cignetti, took a FBS OC job.

Haslett, Tomsula, Richard? all under Nolan would be a fiery group of vet Def coaches
There is some talent on defense. It just needs a few pieces to make it a really good unit.

It appears that a defensive coaching staff is being assembled that can turn that unit into the kind of defense we want to watch on Sundays.

Aggressively attacking the QB and a turnover creating defense.

Im dating myself now but I remember him being one of the sides of the old Bills Bermuda triangle defense that was quite dominant. He and Shane nelson at linebacker and old Freddy Smerlas at nose tackle back in the early eighties.

I bet you save a lot of money that way Plus it's got to be easier to get to know yourself.

Add another former HC, I like it. Nothing like knowing what the job is like for your boss to better help him to do it.
