McCarthy has certainly overseen and contributed to Bret Favre's and Aaron Rodgers success as well, so, hopefully he'll do the same with Dak. Certainly, Moore will be his understudy in terms of learning the intricacies of the West Coast Offense and that will be to his credit. He's a sharp cookie and should absorb it in fairly short order. I do think it might do both Kellen and Dak a world of good to have MM available. Thanks, I'm feeling better now. ;)
You're quite welcome my good friend.

Kellen would be crazy NOT to stay and learn/pick the brains of a HC with this much experience. Hell, I can see Mike even considering incorporating some Kellen plays/designs with his.
He's probably bilking an extra milly, or two on that paycheck.

Seems like lateral or even downgrade move. Get paid here and chance to become a H.C. in the NFL pretty soon.
Jerry and McCarthy will give him the ability to call plays.

The NFL is reporting that Mike McCarthy wants Kellen Moore to stay in Dallas as the Offensive Coordinator. But Moore has reportedly also received an offer from new Washington Huskies Head Coach, Jimmy Lake, to become the offensive coordinator for Moore's home state University.

It will be interesting to see which offer Moore chooses to take. On the one hand, he could stay in Dallas, learn the West Coast offense under McCarthy, and expand his professional football resume. On the other hand, jumping to college might be a fast-track to becoming a College Head Coach.

Exactly, "I'm considering a college job" is just code for "May I have a raise pretty please??"

Moore would get another NFL OC job if he left but Dallas is the premier franchise, Jerry pays assistants better than anyone and this is a great opportunity for a 31 year old first year OC to learn under McCarthy .

But if I was him, I would ask a raise also and cross my fingers things went my way.

Since Mo is one of the few coaches from this staff that I wanted to keep, I dang sure hope he stays. Love his potential, and hopefully he'll get better direction from McC than he did from Jason.

Add Kitna and Gary Brown to that list as well.

The reports of KM getting NFL offers including in Dallas are greatly exaggerated.

Jerry just talking him up to get a college job. Same thing that happened when he went from an experienced kid to suddenly being discussed as an offensive savant by multiple sources overnight.

the multiple offers are the Cowboys and the Huskies. Pretty clearly stated lol
