Not following you on the nepotism angle here.

We just emerged from an era where a Garrett was head scout, head coach and pro personnel chief.

That's nepotism.
Im just saying i dont know if hes good or bad but i know why hes in the NFL. i know its all about as Corso said the good ole boy network but can we atleast get the top quality guys? Garrett is a bottom feeder coaching wise. Was fassels special teams top 10 last year? If not its a bs hire

A name of interest on Mike McCarthy’s staff with the Cowboys is Rams special teams coach John Fassel, according to sources. He’s had one of the top units the last few years. The Cowboys’ special teams struggled in 2019 with Brett Maher contributing 10 missed field goal attempts and they finished last in kickoff return average.

Wow! What a great hire. We all know how big a need this was.

bo matter what happens, I think it’s clear that Jerry is letting McCarthy go out and spend some cash and build his own staff.

gonna need to figure out why the Rams are willing to let him go. Seems odd considering he had good performance and there’s not new HC there.

I know he had the crazy fake punt failure but surely that’s not enough to make McVay let him go. The guy is one of the best Special Teams coaches in the league

Critical addition and upgrade, truly pleased with this addition.

ST were abysmal and this improves that aspect immensely!
