Jerry’s nostalgia about the Garrett’s is a head scratcher. I don’t understand it. Garrett became a coach in 2007. Did I miss something wonderful over those years?

Good god. Who cares if you paid his dad 30 years ago. I can't imagine such devotion to every member of a family who were just employees.

You could still be best buds with them away from the game if you want to. Doesn't mean you have to put them in charge of your team.

It’s funny because I heard on the radio the other day mccarthy kinda of hated it in GB cause the owners never took any of the heat off of him. They never did any interviews.

Here he can just coach lol maybe. Jerry will take all the heat.

There is no owner in Green Bay other than 100,000+ stockholders (ie the general public) and at different times I think that works out to be a huge plus and a huge negative for the Packers. They do have a CEO that represents them at owner’s meeting.

Their last GM, Ted Thompson, was a famously reclusive and basically refused to talk to the press.

In summary, a lot fell in MM’s broad (very broad...) shoulders in GB.

Such a weird juxtaposition. A hard-nosed blue collar Pittsburgh guy on stage with a bunch of drunk, redneck Arkansas billionaires.
I thought it was more like that scene in 'Dumb and Dumber'

Jerry getting ready to break out his "credit cards ripped up at Love Field" story. Never gets old

Jerry needs to step down from the Dallas Cowboys and write a book on clinch sayings. This guy has more clinch saying then anybody I've ever heard.
