Exactly. Some expecting full blown answers to how things are going to work next season aren’t going to get it. I bet the new coaching staff hasn’t even sat in a room together yet. Wayyyy too early.

Today was just an intro of the new HC and a little background on the guy. Jerry gets his media attention and that’s that.

does anyone have any idea when mccarthy will have a real press conference with the media to talk about actual football stuff? that’s what everybody is actually interested in. do they do one around the senior bowl or anything? i don’t remember.

In a previous post you mentioned you would love Tomlin which is odd if you do not think a coach can win a SB with another team. Are you trolling this thread? Or just pissed off in general?

well this made it official, bet hes never been in press room that big for new hire..

he was nervous and excited but as well know its always a honeymoon period until it gets real.. lets see it all come together and start working.. this fan base will get antsy in 5 weeks where they need to give him 2-4 years to make it legit..

That was bizarre press conference. Jerry describes his encounters with McCarthy as some sort of homoerotic love story. I don’t know what kind of good stuff Stephen had before the conference.

I was lukewarm on McCarthy but now I’m starting to see that this is going to be a great fit. This is probably the most excited I’ve ever been about this teams future.

no, not at all. I said Urban first, Tomlin would be a better hire than Mike. I'm just posting what was said at that so called Press Conference.

Coach said basically nothing significant about football, which is wise. Whether a new coach or not, it always amazes me that the media expects coaches to spill their beans on air.

As for Jerry, the media idiots are the ones who kept asking him and Stephen questions. Mike May have been more comfortable at a podium than seated at a table between Jerry and Stephen, though I felt he was actually relieved whenever the Joneses were asked questions....lol.
