You're ignoring Sean Payton. Brees throws in the easiest system in the league.

Dak was better than Brees, by a MILE, this year. Efficiency is a product of Sean Payton, not Brees.

What's accuracy a product of bud?
How about pocket awr?
It's everybody else's fault except Dak's.
Ok ok, we get it Dak is the Best QB in the NFL and should get paid 40 million a year!
Are you happy now sport?

All I hear is Dak needs all pro's on the oline, check, needs a elite running back, check, needs a #1 wr, check, needs a great #2 check, needs a solid slot receiver, check... i mean come on who else has all these?

The "people" have read your schtick a million times and it doesn't get any more interesting or insightful.

Dak is Dak, but the silliness you post suggests you're hardly the person to be judging any football player.

Pappy might have some silliness but that don't compare to someone saying Dak is better than Brees.

That is absurdity!

Brady has a no franchise tag clause in his contract. Why do you think that is? I'm still trying to figure it out. My best guess is that he'd rather not play on a different team.

Brees missed 5 games and still almost dropped 30 TDs. 27-4 compared to Dak’s 30-11 TD/INT ratio. His rating last year was record high for us career. He has an even higher rating this year.

It’s people like you who fanboy so hard over Dak, that you turn off other people to the idea of liking him. Dak is very good QB, but he’s never been better than Brees.

Neither. This team isn't a "QB" away from the Super Bowl. Would rather have Dak and see what he can do, or find possibly another young QB to come in. Someone who can grow with this young team and achieve more success.

Dallas isn't on this "last chance" deal this next coming season. Window is still there.

You going to acknowledge the fact that, of those 11 INTs, 3 bounced of WR hands and 2 were on hail mary's? No.

Ryan Tannehill led the league in passer rating. Like completion %, it's a system metric as much as anything. Drew Brees operates in the best passing system in the league.

Prescott has to actually throw the ball down the field. Brees racks up numbers dinking and dunking, which means he is a product of that system. https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/passing#average-intended-yards

I'm not even fanboying Dak. Brees just isn't good anymore.

I don't remember. What do you mean by buy a SB? Did he try to buy a Lombardi trophy from a pro shop or something? Please explain!

Think it is the 2000 season, when Deion was on the Commanders. But basically, Snyder loaded the Commanders up with a bunch of aging high dollar free agents, mortgaging the Commander's future, to try to buy enough talent to win a superbowl a year after he bought the skins? :) Pretty much everyone, including the media, was saying around that time that he tried to buy a superbowl and failed. Wish I could find an article from back then, but most I can find right now is a mention by someone else about him trying to buy superbowl.

"In 1999, a 34-year-old Snyder bought the already hapless Washington franchise and, as the deal closed, he ran outside to call his father and tell him the great news. Then he tried to buy a Super Bowl. When that didn't work, he charged admission to spring training, sold out-of-date peanuts, hawked beer in the bathrooms and banned signs from the stands."

Between Dak, Brady or Brees, I'd take Dak. Brady can't move and Brees has limited arm strength Brees put up 9 points AT HOME vs Minnesota.

The bigger problem in Dallas is the defense.

If you truly really thought hey we could win the Super Bowl right now in the next 2 years. I know, it probably won’t Happen but what if you franchised Dak and traded him for a 1st. Spend our two 1st rounders to load up on defense, then sign Brady or Brees for 2 years? Just go ALL in. Why not now? Then after Brees or Brady retire we let McCarthy draft a young stud.

This sounds like you're sacrificing the future of your franchise in the hopes you can get lucky. I'm not even a huge Dak fan, but I'd rather pay the QB and build this team around the trenches. There's enough subpar QBs with rings out there to make me believe you can win with the (above) average one we have.

WoW, I completely missed that. Maybe because he did such a poor job I missed it? I thought the Giants back in 2016 tried to buy their way to a SB, and they did a halfway decent job IMO.

There was a sport illustrated article about talking about all the free agents that were on that team that year, and them looking at each other and having a feeling of something great. Here's another link talking about that team. "The 2000 Commanders: The first super team that wasn't" - https://riggosrag.com/2019/06/27/Commanders-2000-super-team-not/

Anyway the lesson most people got from that attempt is that filling your team with a bunch of aging free agents, is that they run out of juice. Skins went 6-2 the first half of the season and then ended up with a 8-8 record.
