Which says a lot about him. We will see as he could be axed tomorrow for all we know, but he’s really the only one I trust on the old regime. He was a Linny disciple, not a JG disciple. He’s talented. If he gets the ax I’m fine with it, but he does have a lot of upside. If he stays, and we have an awesome year, every team will want him in 2021.

I’m fine with it if he stays or goes, as long as it’s McCarthy’s decision.
I kind of agree but if it's not Moore it's likely Philbin and I'd be way more apathetic about that than I am about Kellen.

Like someone on this board stated already before (whoever you were feel free to take the claim), it will be an easier transition for the offense to hear the new wrinkles from a familiar voice. And like StarMan just said, if it’s McCarthy's decision then it’s a good thing. I need to start using citations in my posts maybe.

Mike Leach just left Washington State, and I happen to know that's the school KM rooted for growing up. Wonder if he'd accept an offer to coach there?

Nevermind how any of us feel about the old coaching staff. What Big Mike thinks is what matters. He seems to be determined to bring in his own guys so that leaves just about everyone else out on the street with the possible exception of Kellen Moore. Even before Big Mike got this HC gig, he was seen on video bragging about how innovative Kellen Moores play designs are. He likes Kellen Moore so he will most likely be taken under Big Mikes wing to be his person understudy as OC. This will be mutually beneficial to both of them. Kellen gets to learn from a proven offensive mind and Big Mike gets a guy who can do all the leg work week to week of an OC while Mike calls the plays on Sunday. They will be spending tons of time together to develop a new playbook.

And he might be the last one left standing because offensive coordinator is the least important position for McCarthy to fill in some ways. He doesn't have to have someone come in and install an offensive scheme. It's going to be his scheme. Whoever is OC is probably just going to be a coach for him to bounce ideas off and to receive input from, but a good coach does that with all his assistants.

From what I'm hearing all of them are gone minus Moore. Haven't heard much about Richard. If he had to be stuck with Marinelli defensive schemes then I'd give him another chance as secondary coach.

Moore can learn a lot from the outside caches common in. He my someday take the HC job if he is successful.

there is a story by Mike Fisher about Jon Kitna(QB Coach),Doug Nussmeier(TEs) and Leon Lett(DTs) still working in the building and that could indicate they might be staying on.

There are a lot of haters on this Board, but top “football people” have been saying for years that Moore is destined to do big things.
I for one hope it is with the Cowboys!
Enough with the spy for Jerry crap. If KM wasn’t the right talent for the job, MM wouldn’t keep him in place.
