Many Philly fans wanted Groh gone last year. They were hoping that he could fill the Frank Reich role but he couldn't. The more Pederson became involved with the OC duties the better they played despite the mounting injuries. As for their WR coach, Agahlor regressed badly and Arcagia-Whiteside's (sp??) route running showed no improvement during the year. I don't know how true this is, but I know quite a few people close to the team and the word is that Pederson didn't get the level of performance expected out of those two coaches, and although he was willing to give them one more chance him, Lurie, and Roseman had a meeting. Afterwards, bye bye two coaches. Word is also that Pederson worked his *** off to get that team in a position to take the division, picking up a bit of an extra workload that should have been done by the two coaches that got the boot.

Well he would know more about the wide receivers coach than I would but he didn't have any wide receivers to coach for the better part of the year I don't see how that's his fault

Pederson got neutered

Yup, and it's a sign that his end is coming. I predict, Wentz stinks it up next year and we hear rumors of friction between Pederson and Wentz, and Pederson gets canned after next season.

I don't know how you can justify firing the WR coach in Philly. Did he somehow coach them into getting hurt and dropping passes?
He had problems the year before as well. At his best, he was OK.

Will the clapper be wearing a shirt with an E-gal on it next year ? I sure hope so. I can hear their fans booing now.

Judge Joe Brown to the Giants, maybe the clapper to the E-gals, McCarthy to the Cowboys. Everything seems to be falling into place.

What's funny is I was halfway listening to the Philadelphia evening news and the guy says "The Eagles announced today that Mike Groh and Carson Wentz will not be back in 2020."

The rumor out of Philly is that Pederson made this pronouncement yesterday about keeping them BEFORE he had his year end meeting with the owner, Lurie.

Lurie, however, wanted Groh and Walch gone. So after their meeting today, Pederson had to announce changes. Lurie seems to have pulled a Jerry Jones here.

I heard a podcast this morning mentioning how Browns management hired all of Kitchen's staff also. It made me wonder how often does this actually happen?
