Many Philly fans wanted Groh gone last year. They were hoping that he could fill the Frank Reich role but he couldn't. The more Pederson became involved with the OC duties the better they played despite the mounting injuries. As for their WR coach, Agahlor regressed badly and Arcagia-Whiteside's (sp??) route running showed no improvement during the year. I don't know how true this is, but I know quite a few people close to the team and the word is that Pederson didn't get the level of performance expected out of those two coaches, and although he was willing to give them one more chance him, Lurie, and Roseman had a meeting. Afterwards, bye bye two coaches. Word is also that Pederson worked his *** off to get that team in a position to take the division, picking up a bit of an extra workload that should have been done by the two coaches that got the boot.
