You mean the choker?

No one talks about it because it's "AARON RODGERS", but he's always been a bit of a choker in big games. Snarky and full of his own rightness. No matter how well someone coaches, you can't coach choking away.

And since it came out last year already that Aaron was refusing to run the plays McC called for, makes you wonder just how much of it was on McC?

I don't know exactly what McC is, and you know what? You don't either. Pretending to know something you don't is just so 12 year oldish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its call having a discussion.

Totally underwhelming. They didn’t even perform a diligent search. I’m sick of the way this franchise does things but I can’t not be a Cowboys fan. I hate it.

And who do you think they could have lured with better credentials? The dude sports a 10-8 playoff record, 3 NFC championship appearances, and 1 super bowl win. There is literally nobody else available with his track record. Aside from Aaron Rodgers, the players love him. I heard TJ Lang on the radio today and he said 99% of the players love him. Even Cobb , whose an UFA now, attended his intro press conference.

College coaches have terrible track records in the pros. Its a completely different job requiring a different skillset. Only 3 guys in NFL history have won at the college and pro level.

I've changed my mind. At first, I was disappointed we didnt get Urban Meyer. But now, after a few days and some pretty darn good football moves, I'm pretty pleased.

Go Cowboys.

His critics don't wanna talk about that part of his record. With a winning record like that how can anyone not count that as a tremendous upgrade over Garrett?

If Jerry lets him hire his staff then I'm all for it. If Jerry hires his staff for him I don't know how much will change overall. I like it cuz I think McCarthy can help Dak develop into s better QB. So I'm happy. I did not want Zimmer or Fisher.

He's already hiring his own staff.

He's appeared in 4 NFC championship games, not 3. At least according to Wikipedia. That's an important statistic. This is a good hire and should not be discounted because some fantasize there were so many potentially greater candidates out there.

It’s a good hire if JJ empowers him.

My only criticism of McCarthy is he often underachieved in the playoffs.
